The fabric would be too slippery to stay on anyones lap. **Q: Would this fit over a double bed? Trying to make a canopy.** A: I think it probably would. It's 150cm wide which is more or less the width of a standard double bed. At 300 cm long it's over a metre longer than a standard double bed (190).
