The little big book on weaning. What an adorable book! I am a new mother and my husband is a psychologist and one of the many emotional decisions parents have to make early on is when to wean their child. Once that decision is made, the process can be exasperating. This short book, filled with beautiful illustrations, wonderful colors and an adorable, no pressure approach to helping both children and parents say Bye-Bye to Nah-Nahs is a wonderful addition to our home. We cannot recommend it enough.

Great for after weaning
I originally wasnt crazy about this book (had beautiful illustrations though), but now that we are weaned my 3 year old loves reading it. It’s great for after weaning.

Not great to help a child understand weaning
It’s a cute enough book but not good for helping with weaning. It is many languages which again I love the concept but misses the mark when trying to teach a toddler something. Weaning is a really hard thing for most toddlers so they need something to help them understand what it’s going to be like and how it’s goong to happen. Saying “bye bye Nah nahs” in multiple languages doesn’t do that. Loving Comfort is much better if you looking to help your toddler wean.

Wonderful, supportive, little gem of book
We bought this sweet book at the beginning of our weaning process and we loved it. It absolutely helped us along and made the transition gentler. Weaning can be a big deal and having a book to support you really makes it more special. Beautifully written with lovely illustrations.

There is no story line and it’s not even all in English. Do not buy!
