I’ve used Otterbox products as long as I’ve used iPhones, and each one ends its life with me in perfect condition. I was caught off guard when I received this case because I immediately realized it wasn’t made by Otterbox. Naming it Defender as well comes across as very deceiving. So that immediately turned me off. The price point is a few dollars less, but you can tell it’s not build with as quality materials as a true Otterbox. It is noticeably lighter, which some people may appreciate. This just makes me think cheap when it comes to products that are meant to be durable. I plan to hold onto it though. We’ll see how it fares over time. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A good case for the money *by P***. on Reviewed in the United States on April 20, 2019* Yes, it is not and Otterbox Defender. But why pay $45? For the price this works quite well. There are a number of previous complaints about there not being any directions. I see the problem if you are not familiar with the Defender. A set of instructions would be helpful. The outer rubberized protector is a covering for the inner hard plastic holder. It comes assembled. Roll your thumb across the screen protector. As you hit the rubberized part it will roll off. Remove the soft rubber section. Then unsnap the clips on the hard plastic case.
