I purchased this stepping stone as a sympathy gift for friends. The recipients were very pleased with the quality and appearance of the item. The shipping was incredibly fast too. I would definitely recommend this product to others. My only issue is with Amazon's gift service. There is much room for improvement. I received the following feedback from my friends. (Granted, there is probably some exaggeration here, but it was enough of an issue for them to make a comment to me.) They said that if they hadn't searched through the entire box, they never would have known who the gift was from. The gift tag was about 2x2 inches in size and the writing on it was about font size 6. It was also stuck writing-side-in on a piece of styrofoam. They summed it up by stating "Let's just say that Amazon doesn't go out of their way to let you know who sent the gift."

I bought this for a friend whose father had recently passed away. She was brought to tears when she saw it and said it was perfect. She has a lovely garden where this will be a reminder of her beloved dad. It really is lovely, much nicer than expected for the price. The butterflies weren't as colorful as those pictured, but are still beautiful.

I was a bit nervous on this purchase since it was a gift for funeral but it came and was better then expected especially for the price!

I was really happy with the size and quality. I wanted something other than flowers to gift for a funeral and I thought this was a really lovely alternative. It was displayed with a stand (a separate purchase) and then the family could choose to either put it in their home or in the garden somewhere if they wanted.

I do love the stone except for two things. The keyhole openings look like they could snap and break in a windstorm. The description reads "Keyhole on the back of the stone allows for easy attachment to Evergreen’s Stepping Stone Metal Stand (sold separately, item number 24249)". The stone had two holes but the stand only has one screw so it wouldn't fit. I contacted the company and they sent me a very nice easel to display the stone on. I was to get that easel in one week but it took about 3 weeks so I thought they told me that to get rid of me but they did stand behind their word. The customer rep also said he would have that wording removed but I see it's still there so BEWARE. In the meantime I bought another stone by another company and the stand fits it so it's not a total loss by buying it. Another stone by Evergreen I ordered later had one keyhole so I do have a choice of displaying it on the stand. I do love this stone despite the two drawbacks so you can prop it against a sturdy plant, pot, etc or buy a sturdy easel to display it.

My mom absolutely loved this gift. It is so beautiful that she's going to keep it inside for display or hang it up. Thank you so much!

A friends mother passed. My friend travels a lot so sending a plant wasn't an option. I discovered this memorial stone. My friend does garden and grows herbs and they were thrilled when they received this memorial gift. I'll definitely use this idea again. UPDATE: I've purchased two more, this is the gift that keeps on giving.

This is a lovely product and I highly recommend it. Suitable for a grave site decoration or to be used in a garden or home, would make a nice gift. My only negative comment is the way it was packaged, it arrived in the manufacturer packaging but the box was not taped closed and the styrofoam packing inside was all broken apart into tiny pieces. It easily could have been damaged as the end of the box was basically open with styrofoam falling out.

I lost my beloved cat Missy last summer. She always kept me company while sitting on the patio by the gardens. Next spring I plan to make a special place in the garden to lay the stepping stone, which I will be able to see whenever I'm enjoying my patio. The stepping stone is very beautiful, and the verse is perfect as I remember my loving cat. Thank you for designing such a perfect memorial.

Excellent quality and it looks very nice. My Stepmom will appreciate the sentiment in her garden. Very satisfied with this purchase for all the right reasons. I would highly recommend this stone as a reminder to anyone who has lost someone dear to them.

Exactly as pictured/described. I am setting this in my garden in memory of my Mom next to a purple cone flower that she gave me. It will be a lovely reminder of all that she meant to us, in a venue that she loved.
