I find it to be such a great facial moisturizer even as my skin changes with the wonderful experience that is aging! I use it all year round. We do have milder weather where I live so I can't speak to more extreme conditions; however, I would recommend highly if you do not love your moisturizer now. I use on face, neck and upper chest. I've never had any issues with the product arriving opened or damaged. There is a lot of marketing of facial products basically lying to consumers. Beware of any product that says it penetrates deep into the skin. Any product penetrating the upper demis of the skin must be clinically tested using double blind, placebo controlled clinical studies and data submitted/reviewed by the FDA. Why? Because your skin is an organ. That's why products like Retin-A, Botox etc have all been clinically tested (they penetrate the upper dermis) and these products require a prescription, monitoring of use by medically trained staff. They are all regulated and adverse events are monitored and reported annually to FDA. I wish you luck finding a product that works for you. Original Review: I have used this on my face for many years and when Whole Foods and Henry's stopped carrying it, I tried several other "recommended" creams that cost more over a period of 6 months before I started hunting the product down on-line. Honestly, all other products come up short. At nearly 40, I still get the occasional breakout and find that this is the right combination of moisture, but not greasy. It absorbs nicely, is pleasant to use and I never have had any complaints other than it is not stocked more places. I now buy it for my older sister who is a convert. It gives my skin what I need in the summer and winter months. I get compliments on my skin often. It may be too much to say it is 100% because of this product, but I can say with certainty it ensures my skin is in the best condition so whatever may be going on with aging/hormones/weather etc, I know it is helping my skin look its best. And it is made in USA which is an added bonus. Review: 6+ years of use and still loving it - This is my favorite moisturizer, and I've been using it for 6+ years with no issues. It absorbs quickly, and is so moisturising while not being heavy. It layers well under makeup and sunscreen, and it's a HUGE container for the price. I switched to another more expensive moisturizer for a year and recently switched back and I'm so much happier with my skin using this cream. I use differin-adapalene gel a couple nights a week and haven't had any bad interaction with this moisturizer when I layer it over the differin-adapalene gel. It also doesn't taste bad if you get it on your lips accidentally. The scent is a very subtle rose scent that dissipates almost immediately. When I try other moisturizers, I don't get the same results as with this moisturizer. I have oily skin. When I wash my face, it would get dry. Other moisturizers would leave my skin dry and flakey. This moisturizer just works well with my oily skin and doesn't cause me any skin issues while using it. My skin always looks dewy when I am consistent in using it. One jar lasts a long time.
