The brackets will handle 4000 pound each. My concern is the bolt that you use to attach them to the load, what is it rated at? Secondly is the angle that the weight is applied to the lifting bracket. My advice is I would limit the load to under 4,000 pounds

How would you secure these bracket if their holes are larger than those holes on my engine?
