no, BX12 has variable subsonic controls and they BX-10 has 3 presets of 35, 50, and 80Hz that is set on the unit itself

What is the difference between this epicenter and the bx10x??

On the SoundStream BX-15 bass processor that came out about 2007 almost all copy and paste from the AudioControl Epicenter manual from 1998 (AudioControl has a very unique way writing manuals) SoundStream and all these other China build house generic pass processors almost all do it.They made it clear that they had no f'n idea what they they are selling and the build house has no idea what they are making. The BX-10 has a has preset subsonic filter options of 35Hz, 50Hz, and 80Hz! 80Hz!!!!!!!! The sweep for the bass enhancement is 27-63Hz (as they clam but it is just copy and paste for AudioControl). The BX-15 has the same sweep but the variable subsonic from 35-80Hz and they have no clue what the rolloff on either model is. With AudioControl I can call them up and ask a question about the formula for making my own PFM a crossover that is dated 1992 and they answer.

Works pretty good for the price i went with this one over the bx-10 series because of the compliants on unwanted noise, and so far works pretty good, would highly recommend for those who listen to corridos, this brings the bass out really nice!

Easy install and true to bass enhancement

Easy install. connect RCA from head unit to soundstream processor, then run a 2nd RCA from soundstream to the amp. After doing this, my music had a much stronger and balanced bass feel. All types of music are improved, I mostly listen to mexican corridos and rap/hiphop and the difference has made me appreciate my subwoofer even more. Setup is 1 10 inch Rockford R2 sub with a Planet Audio AC1500.1M amp. great performance for the price

Distorted notes

I have 1 skar 12 hooked up with. Hifonics amp and this sound stream epicenter and my music sounds really distorted. I went and bought an Audio Control Epicenter and it has really clear bass notes. DON’T WASTE YOUR $$$ ON THIS GARBAGE !!!
