Heres how they work. All you have to do is turn a little knob on the frame above each lens. Each variable focus lens allows the user to manually adjust to his or her needs for clarity. Each variable focus lens comprises an elastic membrane held in a chamber between rigid front and back polycarbonate plates. When fluid is injected into the chamber the elastic membrane bows outwards or inwards to change the power of the lens. They are easily adjusted for a wide range of spherical powers from - 6.0 to Plus 3.0 - Incredible.Features. Type - Adjustable Eyewear. Frame Color - Crystal. Clear Lens. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A pleasant, useful surprise

My husband got a pair as a gift (the original purchaser decided he didn't like them) and found that the glasses were light but remarkably useful and best of all, inexpensive enough to keep around more than one pair -- which is why I got him a backup pair. Recommended!

Meh! The goal of these glasses is the holy grail for eyeglasses wearers: clear vision at various shorter distances. However, these glasses are very flimsy. They work as described but the "sweet spot" is very small and they are not a good substitute for reading glasses. Good idea but poor execution. More a novelty than a good solution for eyeglass wearers
