This is good stuff. But
This is good stuff. But, first, as they say, test it on one tile grout section and get some on a tile just to see what happens. Do this in an inconspicuous area. Wait the required time as per the directions. In fact, go do something else and come back to it the next day. Then, you'll know what you're dealing with. I was totally happy. I have about an 8 X 8 sq ft small bathroom area of 18" porcelain tile that was done by a professional. The grout bag for the grout that we selected said to seal the grout. Because the installation was a bathroom, the contractor said that really wasn't necessary because stains weren't really an issue. But, we wanted to do it anyway just in case years of stepping out of the shower would cause a deterioration of the grout. Not a likely scenario, but I figured why be lazy when I'm into this project big financially anyway. Why cut a final corner short. I bought Aqua Mix and a roller wheel bottle. I'm not so sure about the bottle's usefulness, but that's another review; but, yes, I'd use the bottle again. Put on one coat of sealer on the grout which was readily absorbed. Waited the prescribed time and applied a second coat. Wiped excesses as directed. Was concerned about the tile edges showing differently than the entire tiles, so I took the bold risk of running this sealer over the entire tile floor surface even thought that's not necessarily recommended. Most will say not to seal porcelain; some will say do it because of microscopic pores. The tile has a textured, stone-like appearance so I figured any sealer residue wouldn't be an issue. I was correct. However, if you have shiny, smooth surface file, be careful and follow the directions. I was really, really pleased. My wife was really, really pleased. I now have a sealed floor grout and also sealed the microscopic pores on the porcelain tile. Any residue on the floor left by the grout is not noticeable because of its appearance/texture/color. In fact, my wife couldn't notice any difference in appearance of either the tile or the grout after I finished. But, it's now sealed. I tested it with water drops. It beads on both tiles and grout. Did not notice any slipperiness, but as I said, I have tile with some texture to begin with. As a side note, the roller bottle aided in applying the sealer, but you'll still need to run it through the grout lines with a 1/4" brush as I did. Overall, I'm very happy with how the sealing went. Finally, would do everything again exactly as I did it. But, this is a review of the product. So far, so good. Can't really say what the sealant will be like in the future. For now, I'm happy. Have no reason to rated it lower than five stars. It didn't present any problems for me.

Great product - but horrible bottle cap!
One less star for the bottle cap problem. Although, I have not experienced any product leaking from the bottle, I have experienced problems getting the cap removed from the bottle to use it after shaking it. I like the product, it's provided excellent results with 2 coats for the grout for white porcelain tine because water now beads up after 2 coats. But the bottle cap absolutely stinks, I may resort to pouring the contents into a glass jar so I can get to the rest of the product. The bottle cap seems defective because it is ridiculously difficult to remove. Aqua Mix, recommend you look into bottle cap improvements so that it's easier to remove & secure so that it prevents leaking during shipment that many others have experienced as described in other amazon product reviews. I would have given this product 5 stars if the bottle cap was easier to remove.

Doing its job!
Recommended to me by a contractor and so far, doing its job nicely. Easy to apply as well.

Impressive
`This is a superior product. After application one of our tiles had to be replaced due to a chip. The treated grout was tough as nails. I was impressed.

Great product, but pick a good applicator
I used this for my shower subway tiling. Works as advertised. I applied one coat with a grout applicator that I bought from Home Depot (HDX 4 oz. Grout Sealer Applicator Brush Bottle for Walls) and used about 1.5 oz total. It took me about 3 hours and my hand cramped up a lot and hurt for a few days afterward because of the applicator. I recommend using a foam brush to apply the sealer instead, or some other tool that does not require repetitive squeezing motions. The bottle says to keep the area dry for 12 hours, and the full cure occurs after 24 hours. After 12 hours, I tested a few areas by putting water droplets on the grout, and the water properly beaded. I waited a full 24 hours before using the shower. It was my first time doing this kind of project, and this product was simple to use. I plan to reapply the sealer in 6 months to maintain it.

Good thing I only used it in that small area ...
Ordered 2 bottles and one was leaking when the box arrived. The box itself was stained. Amazon sent my inquiry to the seller but there has been no response after 1 week. Anyway, I needed it and so I used the one with the intact bottle. It made the grout a little bit darker. Good thing I only used it in that small area where I was going to have the washer and dryer placed. It did seal the grout after I tested it but I'll discontinue using it for the rest of my floor.

Very effective sealer of grout in my bathroom shower stall.
Requires several applications to saturate and fill the porous grout work effectively

Best grout sealer!
This grout sealer works well, it penetrates the grout and when it dries, water beads and nothing gets through. I had tried another brand from Home Depot, Custom Building, and I applied 4 coats and it was still absorbing liquid. Used this grout sealer and it was beading after one coat. I applied using a small art brush, trying my best to avoid getting too much on the tile. Awesome product. Will save you time and money (needs only 1-2 coats).
