She's a teenager now, but these are the one thing she always asks for. The kits don't take long, and by now she's done all of the different varieties many times, but it doesn't mean she doesn't love them. It's much cheaper to get a lot of them this way than separately, so I get her enough for the year in winter, and she has them whenever she wants. The instructions are clear even if they are in a different language, and the steps are simple enough. Usually the end result is fairly tasty, although definitely full of artificial candy flavors. The more savory kits become a risk when making them, because some are oddly enjoyable, some aren't bad, and some will create taste nightmares.
