Review: Give it a chance..use it as your daytime moisturizer and let it set for a minute. - If you are worried if this product is really Bare Minersls - don't. It is real. I have used this foundation since it it first came out and this is the real formula. I LOVE THIS makeup! It can be sheer with one layer or you can get more coverage using a little more product. Here's the thing though....I have discovered two important factors over the years- 1) it is a moisturizer AND a foundation. So use it as your daytime moisturizer. If I apply my normal moisturizer and THEN use this it feels heavier. If I want a sheer natural look that just covers the redness around my nose and a little bit under my eyes but NOT feel like makeup- then I DON'T apply my moisturizer first. This product offers the perfect amount of moisture. 2) Give it a minute or two to set before you panick that it looks shiny or apply any power, bronzer or blush that you normally wear. I don't know why- maybe it is that whole moisturizing factor. I wash my face, put on a little eye cream and then use about a nickel size amount of this, I rub it between my hands (using just fingers- not my palms.) and spread it around my face just like my usual moisturizer. Then I leave it. I go get dressed or whatever....and in about a minute or two it looks great. Every time I put it on and then look in the mirror I think it looks super shiny. Then I remember to just wait a second. Anyway, it is a nice product. Not too heavy unless you want it to be and add another layer after the first application sets a little. It is oil free. I mean ACTUALLY oil free. Sometimes products say they are "oil free" but they have whatever the "good oils" are that are not supposed to break you out. My skin will get pimples and break out if ANY kind of oil touches it....even the ones that are supposed to help with pimples like tea tree and lavander. I highly recommend this product for anyone who wants to be able to put something on quickly for daily use and have their skin just look like it is naturally smooth and clear. Think of those pictures you see of famous models or actresses walking through the airport with "no makeup" and their hair in a ponytail but you STILL wonder how their skin just looks naturally perfect. Well, this stuff gives you that. Give it try and find the application style that works for you....just be patient at first and don't judge it as too shiny right away. I think you will end up loving it.
Review: 33 white woman - I have religiously used Rare Beauty tinted moisturizer because I was told at Sephora it was the best, but it slides around on my face, I have to role play I have botox and not make any facial expressions or it bunches in my creases, and I cannot wear both of my serums and moisturizer even with primer because it's just not great with it all, and it makes me break out. I bought this last night though and not only do I look even more glowy (without looking oily like I do with rare), but I also don't have to worry about it sliding around my face because it actually sticks to my serums without primer. How well it will hold over time and if it makes me break out is still to be discovered, but I have very dry and oily skin that likes breaking out in painful acne over the smallest changes to my serums or moisturizer, so it's highly volatile skin. But so far I love it. I matched by just holding up my arm to my phone and knowing I have more neutral/warm toned skin and it matched perfectly, which is wild to me because I'm kind of out of the color range for many brands, including Rare. I have a tone of white that has to match to "close enough" But it's either too yellow or too pink for me usually. Bare Minerals has a great match up for me personally though.

**Q: what color would i get if i wear fairly light in the mineral powder form?**
A: They sale this on QVC & they have color chart you can check

**Q: How am I supposed to know what shade to choose when there aren’t any pictures or colors shown? Am I supposed to guess based on the name??**
A: I would go to a local Ultra Store and ask their opinion. They you will know what shade to buy. I purchased this from Ultra first, of course it cost more there. Good luck

**Q: Once you open the box, is there a tab you need to break off after you unscrew the cap?  I have a feeling mine was already opened. How are they sealed**
A: It is sealed tight with a silver foil tab you have to pull off. Mine poured out as if I was squeezing it when I opened mine.

**Q: where is the color chart?**
A: I had to go the bare minerals website to determine my color. They have a survey you can take plus skin tone models to compare to. I went half a point warmer than my survey results based on the model comparison, and it was a perfect match for me.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Perfectly Silky!

I was excited to receive this product and try it out because I really needed something that wouldn't make my face as oily as the Garnier BB cream I was using. When I first tried it I was a bit disappointed because it did not give me the coverage I wanted but it grew on me and now I love it. It goes on super smooth and it's so silky and even better, my face is much less oily at the end of a long day at work which is such a big a deal for me. I use this after LIGHTLY moisturizing (sometimes I don't even moisturize) and priming or else I end up looking oily throughout the day since the gel is very hydrating itself. I use my fingers to apply it, wait for it to set a bit, and then use a brush to even it out. If I don't wait for it to dry, I end up with visible streaks on my face. It doesn't cover under eye circles or pimples very well so I use concealer and setting powder. Coming from a girl that does not like to bring attention to her makeup, this product does not feel heavy (no matter if I use extra to get a little more coverage) and I don't feel like I'm wearing mask. I feel like people can still see the real me.
