(I am a teacher, so...) the box comes with two of the same filters (as your air puifier requires two, one on each side.) The helps and carbon filters are all in one. So, the β€œbox” containing two filters will replace the consumable (throw away) filters. The other filters are the screen filters which you vacuume/wash 2-4 weeks depending on your use and air particles in your environment. I have had my Air Mega for over a year. The replaceable box of two filters has been changed at 9 months, but I have four dogs and a small house which the air gets circulated quite often. I also run mine on high all day and β€œsmart” at night. If you have another question post it and I’ll get back with you. Anyways, when I ordered this filter I was happy to see that the quality was just as good as the first and the price was much nicer than what I could find elsewhere online. It has now been almost a year since I bought the replacement filter and it's still chugging along so good to know I won't have to replace them every 6 months!! The airmega has been a life saver (less allergies and dust)!
