**Q: Can this be used for dream catchers ?**
A: Yes, makes very nice dream catchers, I usually do not split it though.

**Q: When burned does it wax?**
A: The thread is waxed and I use it to make pine needle baskets and I don't melt or burn the ends or any other part of the thread.  Since the thread is poly thread it should just melt if heated.

**Q: Is it very waxy? I'm looking for something that will stick to itself for tie dying..**
A: Boss’s Tye Die have used 4-5 rolls if I’m right you need to know if it sticks when you pull to tie it to me works grate

**Q: Is this polyester?**
A: Yes it is waxed polyester.  It is fairly easy to split the threads.  I use it to make pine needle baskets and it is very durable.

I make tie dyes using this artificial sinew. I previously used a brown sinew and it left yellow stains on some shirts. This white artificial sinew held up well and kept the liquid dye from seeping into the next section as desired. I've had other sinew that fell apart during the batching process, but this one held up well. I've only had the opportunity to use on 2 sets of t-shirts, so I'm still early in the roll. Should anything change, I'll update my review, but so far I am pleased with my purchase.
