Perfect For My Needs!
I wanted a sprayer for olive oil. I eat "healthy" popcorn every single night; by healthy I mean I coat it lightly in olive oil, add some garlic salt and shake it around in a bowl to distribute everything - as opposed to microwave popcorn with all sorts of junk added. But I've been using an oil drizzler bottle and I know I've been using more oil than necessary. I was considering a Misto, in fact I was quite decided on one until I happened to see this option. I looked at both items in a kitchen supply store where I could get a feel for both firsthand. I liked the fine mist concept of the Misto but what really sold me on the Evo was the large size; it holds 18 ounces as opposed to Misto which only holds about 2 1/2 ounces! Since I use it every night, that's a lot less refilling for the Evo. The Evo does not spray a fine mist, be sure you know that. It's a spray, but much heavier than a mist. It sprays in a fan shape, a little wider than I'd prefer but since my main use is on large bowls of popcorn it's no big deal. The spray might be a bit wide to coat very small baking pans but should be fine for regular size pans. It hasn't clogged yet as others have mentioned. It's very ergonomic to hold, it feels nice in the hand. It comes with rubber band type labels with various oils in case you want to have a few of these. One thing I really like is the included funnel, which is small but screws right onto the bottle, so it doesn't wobble all over the place while you're refilling it. That turned out to be a surprisingly handy feature for me, it makes refilling easy and neat. The oil doesn't leak out of the sprayer and run down the bottle either, which it tends to do with my drizzle bottle. I also like that I don't need to pump it each time I use it - to me that just means one less thing to go wrong. So far no complaints at all. It was worth every penny, especially now that I'm using much less olive oil on my nightly popcorn! **UPDATE August 26 2015** I have discovered I can't live without this thing, it's my go-to kitchen gadget. I use it for far more than the popcorn I mentioned in my original review above, I use it to coat baking pans, frying pans, everything. I'd say I use it every day for one thing or another. The other day I foolishly left it too close to a hot pan and burned a hole in the bottle, I was furious. These aren't cheap, but I knew I had to replace it immediately, so I ordered another and just the 2 day wait for Prime delivery was torture. The new one is here now and life is good again. I seriously love this thing.

Adequate spray bottle for olive oil and worth the price
This product is a perfectly adequate spray bottle for olive oil. I have used mine for five years and now need to replace it. The top was designed so that it was difficult to use all of the oil in the bottle before having to refill it. It also was messy at the spray mechanism. If you want something more than adequate, you may want to buy something else. Otherwise, this product is worth the price I paid.

Olive oil is expensive; get this!
This little gizmo is impressive. Olive oil was always expensive, but since COVID-19, has become more expensive and is often unavailable at Warehouse as well as grocery stores. I usually use what I want from my pour bottle, but often pour more oil than is needed. Now with Evo, I can spray precisely the quantity I want on chops, shrimp, lamb, chicken, and salmon or whatever. It coats your pan and/or whatever you’re doing evenly. It even makes a salad taste better as your greens will never be oily from over-saturation. At first, I thought it was too expensive for a simple spray bottle. But then after careful examination, it’s just right. Why? The bottle is designed and colored to make your oil last longer because of the tinting. Sunlight can prematurely age some oils. The sprayer is way more robust than a standard sprayer along with the broader, clog-free tube that has a permanent curve reaching the bottom of the jar for every last drop before you “have” to refill. It comes with rubber bands printed on both sides and inside out with the name of the oil. Very useful if you use multiple oils, i.e., canola, vegetable, grapeseed, etc.. You are also supplied with a funnel that is perfectly designed for the bottle; you won’t spill a drop as you refill. Love this little sprayer; will probably buy a second one as a spare just in case they sell out or they become unavailable—one last caveat. I thought the bottle is made of glass; it’s plastic. Now I am happy because I dropped it once. If glass, I would have had a mess of glass and oil all over the counter and floor. Plastic is the best and well thought out.

Average spray but breaks completely after a year
When this was working it was average. The spray itself was uneven but got the job done. I did use it regularly, at least once or twice a week. The problem is that it broke after about a year of usage. I'm not 100% sure, but it seems like the filter at the bottom got clogged. Whatever the cause, it just stopped being able to spray. Nothing comes out and the trigger isn't fully responsive. If you decide to buy this just know that you'll get a year before it breaks down. Purchased September 2024, dead by September 2025.

Something nice to have on hand and will be used a lot--an oil sprayer!
It works well for the purpose of evenly and lightly coating a pan or food for roasting. I'm glad I got it! It's quite roomy too and holds a lot of oil and works well with only a little oil as well. It's tall so it doesn't fit in my cupboard; but I store it in the oven cavity with the pots and pans. It sprays easily and is comfortable to handle. So, I'd say, it was an excellent purchase.

Leakage & functionality
Ok product. Leaks from spray nozzle. Sprayer works ok... you have to have a good bit of oil in the bottom for functionality.

Far quicker to use than a mister, once your used to it.
I use this primarily for air frying. This is far faster and easier to use than an oil mister once your used to it, as there is no preliminary pumping involved. But you must get used to it first Note that it is important to swing over the area you want to spray, you should start the swing before you stary pulling the trigger, and release the trigger before you stop swiging. Failure to do that will result in an uneven coating, with oil built up anywhere you stagnated at. Second, its important to pull the trigger at a constant speed. How do you do that? Simple, dont worry about it. Just pull the dang thing. Start your sweep and pull it all the way down. This should take less than half a second. If you try to do it any slower than that then you will have issues because it takes a lot of focus to slowly pull the trigger and is virtually impossible to do it steadily. If you want to get used to it, just sqirt it at full force a few times over the sink. You absolutely will NOT like this product if you try to ease into it by giving 1+ second long baby squirts. Next, some people have issues with the straw pointing the wrong way. This can happen if you twist the spray head as you tighten the cap, instead of just the cap alone. You can fix this by either loosening the cap and turning the spray head the correct direction, then tightening the cap again. Alternatively, you can take the spray head off, grab the straw near the bottom (away from the spray head) where it is curved, and then turning the straw in a wide circle around the spray head until it is in the correct position. Do not grab the straw from the top, near the spray head. When you turn a nut, you use the leverage a wrench gives you, you don't grab the screw in the screw hole and try to turn it by hand. The end of the straw gives you the leverage and angle you need to turn it. The base of the straw in the hole is well oiled and will be absolutely impossible to grip, so... don't try it. If you have an issue with the bottle squirting clumps in 1 direction and nothing in another, try 2 things. 1) pull harder/faster. This is a common issue if you pull too slow. A single spray should take about half a second 2) If that still presents the issue, clean it with warm soapy water. You probably only need to clean the nozzle, but you can fill the whole thing with soapy water and give it a few squirts if needed
