I already own the 10 lb 36" version of this maul - Wilton 21036 10 lb. BASH Sledge Hammer with 36-in Unbreakable Handle . As with the 10lb version, this is tough and rugged. I smash it in to wedges until they are firmly in place, then finish the job with the 10lb maul. Works great! After splitting up about 20 cords of wood, this is still in good shape, handle has great grip, and handle is firmly attached to the head. No notable damage.
