## Description

Zinc sacrificial button anodes / flange anodes for protecting boats and marine craft from galvanic corrosion and electrolytic corrosion in salt-water. These come in a range of sizes starting at 50mm diameter. Sacrificial anodes for boats are a relatively cheap way of protecting the key parts of your boat from corrosion due to the effects of salt-water and electrical currents. When an anode is approaching 50% of its original size it should be replaced. If in doubt we would recommend erring on the side of caution. We would recommend inspecting anodes at least every season. Zinc flange anodes are will suited for mounting to rudders, trim tabs and other flat surfaces which need protection from corrosion.
