This is the most perfect pig can opener. I don’t know why they’re so hard to find. It doesn’t tear up, bend, and ruined the lid.

Just over 3 inches. Picture on Amazon is deceptive. No markings of “Made in USA’ as pictured, just plain and its quality is that of Chinese junk. Buy at your own risk.

I am very disappointed that it's not stamped like in the photo. I make it a point to buy made in the USA, and without that stamp, there is no telling.

The description of this tool states it can open and close paint cans. It does open the can, but it is not the right size to close a can. The bent end is not long enough to hook to the side of the paint can and push the lid closed. I can only use it as an opener, which is disappointing. Don’t buy if you want a paint can closer. I’m planning to return it.

Excellent item, it works great

This device works well for opening paint cans. The paint-can-closer end works, but I prefer to press the lid with my thumbs followed by gentle blows from a soft-faced hammer to avoid any damage to the can. The opener is made from 18 gauge steel, so it flexes slightly when opening lids and always seems on the verge of bending. It would be significantly improved if it were bit thicker, perhaps using 16 gauge steel. The description says 3.75 in. long, but the one I received measures 3-3/8 in. long. It was purchased because it was made in USA.

Not a good product at all , would not recommend , better off to find an old church key and grind it down
