The sampler pack is perfect for small projects. So many colors can be made by combining or adding white, very versatile. The clay in this pack is very soft and pliable, with a smooth consistency. Clean up is a breeze by scraping your work surface. Darker colors may leave a slight discoloration on your hands and fingers, but wash off easily with soap and water.

Purchased for my granddaughter's birthday. She loves it! Highly recommend.

It also makes it easy to blend colors together and create patterns. - Variety of colors. There's a color for anything that you'd like to do. We've used it for figurines and jewelry. 4 different people have used it and everyone has been very happy with the results. - Does not crack! I've used clay that has cracked or broken while baking, but these don't do that. They don't fade, crack, or change at all. Cons: - Since this is a variety pack, there's a small amount of each color. I would like it to have more white and black which are the most used colors, but you can just buy those separately. Would I recommend it? Definitely! This crafting skills is essential for quarantine and for relaxing. I 100% recommend it for anyone and everyone who wants to pick up an artistic hobby.

I purchased this set so I could get a nice sampler of some of sculpey's colors and finishes. This set includes 30 samples in the following colors: 042 - Black 323 - Emerald 515 - Violet 072 - Yellow 538 - Teal Pearl 360 - Camouflage 583 - Red Hot Red 1634 - Just Orange 1209 - Ballerina 1103 - Lt Blue Pearl 010 - Translucent 033 - Sweet Potato 063 - Blue 1140 - Deep Red Pearl 1101 - Pearl 1216 - Spring Lilac 1109 - Suede Brown 1629 - Granny Smith 1086 - Gold 1150 - Lemonade 355 - Gentle Plum 503 - Hot Pink 053 - Chocolate 093 - Beige 505 - Turquoise 322 - Leaf Green 1144 - Sky Blue 1130 - Silver 083 - Red 001 - White I really love the metallic and pearl finishes. You can very easily mix several colors together to get a different color or shade and it blends very nicely. The clay bakes really well and needs just 15 minutes per quarter inch of clay at 275 degrees. I do find that the Sculpey III shows the fingerprints really easily. I do prefer sculpey's Premo for the types of crafts I do, but the Sculpey III is great for beginning crafts.

This product was purchased for a school project for my Kindergartener. He was doing a report & diorama on Dale Chihuly. Since a 6 year old isn't really safe around working flames & melting glass, this was the next best option, as he could mold it, and then "fire" it in the oven to harden and cure it. It worked great. We made sure to follow the directions. The clay started out firm, then softened as it was worked, and would become firm again, but soften if worked again. The colors mixed well, and if you didn't want them mixed, you would need to wash hands between colors. It was fairly easy for a 6 year old to use, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone. There were a LOT of color choices, and the gold and silver were slightly sparkly, just as you would hope. I have included a picture of his finished project, with the baked clay figures included.

Great modeling clay. I bought this as a Christmas gift for my 9 year old. He loved the array of colors and immediately set about making mini model animals etc. The clay was very pliable and easy to work with, even for a 9 year old who has some fine motor skill problems. The clay hardened nicely in the oven following the directions and was pretty sturdy. When stored in plastic food save bags the clay has remained usable for going on 6 months. The clay did not stain our counter tops like other model clay brands we have used. Overall I was very impressed with the quality and price of this clay.

I was asked to review these clays but at the time polymer clay was new to me and I wasn't familiar with this brand compared to others. But now I've been using polymer clay for about 2 years or so and have tried a few different ones, and as far as which is my favourite, I'd choose Sculpey III. Its not too soft and not too hard. The texture is perfect and great for kids to use too. Primo is harder and more tough to condition but works great for details and wont feel like its melting in your hand like fimo soft can feel like. SculpyIII had lots of vivid, bright and beautiful colors. Some with shimmer in them and some are flat or matte colors, and in this multi-colors pack you get flat and shimmer blocks of clay. Some of there textures can be slighty softer or harded in the pack depending on the shimmer or not. Over all, I love this brand and the pack of multi-colors. I've bought them again, again, and WILL buy them again and again!

Great material, works as expected. Just a heads up that eight of the colors are sparkly or shimmery. If you are looking for all solid colors with no bling or shine, you may want to purchase a different pack.
