Melissa & Doug Happy Handles Wooden Stamp Set: 6 Stamps and 6-Color Stamp Pad

Love it!!

So much fun for my kids. I like the box it comes in. I wish the ink boxes were a little larger, but it works as described.

My daughter wanted to put it on her hands and arms, it does not transfer there welll. So win for me, but it did transfer to paper just fine. The pad is easy to use and the stamps are easy to wash. The rubber on the stamps are sturdy. The stamps are a easy grip for little people to hold on to.

Overall this is a cute set for a good price as long as you have the right expectations. When I got this in the mail I was expecting it to be a bit larger (both the stamps and the stamp pad). The diameter of the stamp itself is about 3/4" and the height of the stamper is a little under 3". Also each little box of the stamp pad measures about 3/4" x 3/4". Also, although the stamp pad has a clear plastic cover, the actual purple wooden box that the whole set comes with does not have a cover. The wooden box is really nice (and there's a black plastic insert for the stamps/pad to sit in) I wish they had charged an extra dollar and put a cover to go with the whole set which would have made it better to close up when kids are not using it. This is my primary reason for dropping down to 4 stars. Otherwise this is a nice set for a child who enjoys arts and who will not put the stamps in their mouth. My child is almost 3 and was able to play with this fine and although she got some of the ink on her hand initially it wiped off nicely. Perfect stamp set for my 2 year old. Easy to hold and simple!

These are just... Ok. The best part is they are easy for my 4 year old to hold. The ink doesn't stay on then long and the ink is kind of dry itself. I tried adding water, as instructed. It's not terrible, it's just annoying to have to keep putting ink on it. The little squares of color are tiny. I wasn't impressed with the quality, especially from Melissa and Doug. Also, why can't the manufacturer put lids on these kits? They just put plastic wrap on the top of these toys and it isn't easy to store the toys in the wooden box it comes in.

My 2-1/2 year old grand daughter loved the stamp set. She chose to play with it over all her other Christmas gifts. The set is sturdy enough to hold up to the abuse a young child can dish out. They're safe for young children and the stamp designs are attractive for both boys and girls.

This product is really great, I actually got them for my nursery students and they absolutely loved it, it has an excellent grip and the quality of great.
