It's a bit finicky to pair with a different device, and you have to keep the battery charged periodically, since it's not field replaceable. I wish it had a AA battery instead of being sealed. Otherwise it works well. I am buying this separate B106 to replace the one that came with my duo because the micro USB port came off when I plugged in the charging cable. Not a sturdy device at all. I’m tempted to never unplug the charging cable on the new one.The device pops apart fairly easy though so you could replace the battery if you are good with tools. From my point of view a better change would be easy. Reattaching the micro USB port is another matter. There is no screw or post or anything similar to give the port any strength. Just three small pads that the port is soldered to. I didn’t put much pressure on the cord at all, just enough to attach the cable but the port popped right off and took one of the traces with it. Impossible to repair. Maybe the new one will be better made but I doubt it. If it is I will edit my review.
