C1321 Rocky Ridges Small

Obviously home made, the flock was falling off from the start. Not as good as photo, won't buy these again

Looks good. A little pricey for what it is.

The item is a lot wider than it looks in the picture. It's a great addition to any layout. Saves a few steps. This can be made to look better with just a few additions. It is made of good plastic so it holds Its shape well. Does well on curved track.

Quality isn’t there. Looks like a kid sprinkled on some dirt on a I plastic mold of a rock and then shipped it to me so I basically had flock everything and fixed the mistakes they but looks good now. They went very minimal on the base and flock.

For all the ratings and reviews for this small Rocky Ridge, no one bothered to upload actual in-hand photos so I thought I'd do it. Many reviews claim that theirs look nothing like the the official product photos from Woodland Scenics. To those people I would somewhat agree. The item I have certainly lacks the same kind of coverage and shrubbery that the official product has, and it even has a slightly different shade of green. Whether or not this bothers you is up to you, of course. I'm not really bothered too much by it because I still like what I got. For $17 it's in line with a lot of kits you can buy to make a diorama like this. Still, I would not have bought this if I was just going to leave it as is. I will definitely put some work into it by adding more shrubbery, trees, rocks, etc. Anyway, in the photos I've included a Bandai Tamashi Nations SH MonsterArts Godzilla action figure for size comparison, as well as some Outland Models N Scale (1/150-1/144 scale) model buildings, and some Woodland Scenics HO Scale Everyday People figurines. Hopefully that gives you an idea of how big this thing is.

Poor quality

Very disappointed with the quality. I have Woodland Scenic rocks and they look very realistic but this doesn’t appear to be the same quality at all. It doesn’t look like the picture either. My photo shows what I received. Most of the top is bare and the greenery covering is quite thin in places, particularly around the back. The rocky face is spotty rather than full along the front as in the advertised picture. The ‘rock’ is simply a brown painted surface that appears to have been distressed with some sandpaper. There is no variation in paint color on them.

Great addition to my HO train layout.
