I purchased the AccuSharp Knife Sharpener after trying several other sharpeners that simply didn’t work as well as I had hoped. This one caught my attention because it looked different from the others, and the affordable price made it worth trying. I’m glad I did because this is by far the best knife sharpener I’ve used. It sharpens my knives quickly and effectively, and it’s incredibly easy to use. In most cases, I only need to run the knife through it a few times before the blade is noticeably sharper. Another thing I appreciate is its compact size. It doesn’t take up much storage space, and it’s lightweight and easy to handle. For such a simple tool, it makes a big difference in the kitchen. It has become one of my favorite kitchen gadgets, and I find myself reaching for it regularly. If you’re looking for an affordable knife sharpener that actually works, this one is definitely worth considering.

I have struggled over the years to sharpen my kitchen knives. I've tried water stones and oil stones but i just can't hold the proper angle consistently enough over the full blade length. Others can comment that I don't practice enough, or have bad technique, but in the end that traditional method doesn't work for me. I've tried a Lansky method and that isn't the best, at least not for me. Most reviews down grade this product because of the amount of material removed for every sharpening. This is true, it does make metal shavings at every pass. BUT I DON'T CARE BECAUSE MY KNIFE IS STUPID SHARP. I don't have super expensive knives. If you do, maybe this product isn't for you. For my knife set I can get a very sharp blade quickly and easily. The tips always seem to go dull first and this thing can sharpen just the tips. It does a great job and it is now my go to sharpener. Great product.

Very simple to use but very effective and fast sharpening tool that can be easily carried with you. Sharpens my folding and fixed blade knives well and I have ordered several of these for tool boxes, fish boxes and kitchen use. Simple but works great at an affordable price. Bobby

For around $15, this is an okay sharpener—it does what it’s supposed to, within reason. I’m honestly not sure why some people are complaining. You’re not going to get professional results from a tool at this price point. That said, I would absolutely not use this on expensive knives. If you care about your blades, use a proper sharpening stone. This is more of a quick, budget-friendly option. One thing to be aware of: if you press down too hard while using it, you can damage the blade. The packaging even warns about this, and I’ve seen others mention it too—so use a light touch. I picked this up to revive an old vintage Pierre Santini knife set from my parents from the ’60s/'70s that was duller than a butter knife. The 15° angle definitely helped bring some life back into them, which is exactly what I needed. Overall, it’s a decent, low-cost tool for older or lower-value knives—but not something I’d trust with anything high-end.

I'm a psycho-sharpener with all kinds of tools and machines to keep my blades as sharp as possible. I'm not going to bring my every day knives that I use during meals into the basement to sharpen them every week like a true psycho, but I still want them sharp. Something small, inexpensive and functional would be ideal and it looks like this particular item has checked off all of the boxes. A few swipes and my blades are very sharp. Will it last? I don't know. I can't see into the future (yet). Here's some advice- after sharpening a blade with any type of sharpener, PLEASE rinse the blade off before using. Unlike some of the videos attached to the descriptions of these sharpeners where the people cut a tomato or a pepper right after sharpening the blade, or wipe it with a piece of paper (?), the knife has to be cleaned properly with water and soap. Sure, we all need more iron, but probably not in the form of steel shards.

Bread knife was less dull, dull dull. Gave this a try and it is bleeping fantastic! My bread knife now cuts bread with ease and also thru ripe tomatoes without squishing them. I has worked great on my straight edged knives too!

I've been searching for a knife sharpener but never could find a product with mostly positive reviews, and finally after my mother showed me an FMP knife sharpener(same as this but different brand), I took a chance and purchased it! It arrived today 5/6/26 and I began to use it. IT SHARPENS!!! I am very happy and I'm hoping it lasts just like my mother's has. Very sturdy and easy to use(especially with diagrams shown on product package. Totally worth the money(mother's FMP brand was $4.00 and I paid $12.00+ tax).

Très bon aiguiseur, facile à utiliser même sans expérience. Il redonne du tranchant en quelques secondes, sans forcer. Prise en main sûre, légère, et le protège-doigts est bien pensé. Idéal pour tous les types couteaux.
