Great system at a great price
I purchased a 23' toy hauler to hookup to my 2007 Chevy Silverado 2500 HD. Now, the truck towed this trailer well, with nothing than a ball and security chains, but everyone kept telling me to get a sway or WD system, just in case. I purchased this system, after doing many online searches and reading reviews. For the price, the quality and the features this system provide, it was the pick. PRO: Easy install. You may need to buy a larger wrench than most have, but they are cheap and you can do it yourself. My buddy and I knocked it out in about 20 mins one night, when we were working on another project at my house. Easy instructions and just a couple tools needed. Easy hookup and removal from towed vehicle. Large hitch will protect your bumper from unexpected objects when not towing. Well made, nothing will break. Very good sway control. In winds of 40+ from left to right, I can feel the trailer pull the truck, but never sway back and forth. Resets back in-line perfectly. CONS: Small sounds when turning after the first 500 miles used. Nothing bad, just startles you at first, when you don't expect it. Simply the sway bars working. The hitch is large and causes my rear backup sensors to see it, thinking I am an inch from something. Kinda sucks, but I could just remove it... however I like the bumper protection. :) Install of the bars can be hard, but if you use the trailer, its easy. Keep the trailer above the ball, install the bars, then lower the trailer. Bars go on easy, and the bars take the load as you lower the trailer. Reverse steps on removal. My wife does this, has no issues with hookups. No hand bar needed to install sway bars this way. VERY light work needed.

Best bang for your buck
I pull a trailer all day everyday, but when I bought my camper it was a whole different world. The heavy tongue weight made the truck squat really bad and it swayed so bad that you could only run around 54 mph max. I read lots of reviews on weight distribution hitch’s and antisway add on, but I wasn’t impressed. In my opinion the 4way equalizer hitch is the best option, but it was almost $700, so I decided to go with this hitch the E2. I feel this is the best bang for your buck, super nice quality, heavy duty hitch. Lots of reviews said it was noisy but it’s not, you do not have to remove the ares when backing and the install manual is step by step, making it a breeze to install. In addition to all this the main thing that blew my mind was at how it made the truck and camper so balanced. No sway, no bounce and made the ride of my F250 so comfortable, as if the trailer wasn’t even behind the truck. In closing I don’t see the need to buy the 4 way $700 equalizer Hitch when this hitch is half price and works great!

A Must Have...
I have been using the sway hitch for about a year. It is awesome. It makes the drive much better as far as sway goes. Whenever you use a device like this, you must understand that the trailer and the tow vehicle become one. You feel a the bumps when the trailer hits a bump. However, the stability is a great trade off. You can still sway but if you have a towing package like we do in our F150 which will slow you down when there is a sway you should have no problems. As I am writing, I wonder how often my anti-sway feature has not gone off since I began using the Fastway. I had mine installed by a dealer as I wanted it to be right. Hooking it up to the trailer is a cinch. My wife insisted that she be able to do it in case something happened to me. Now, with a pair of work gloves, she can hook up the trailer with no problem! Note: The sway bars will, as they are supposed to, rub on the metal foot that they sit on. This will rub away the paint and they will show some rust. This is normal. Do not spray WD40 or other lubricants on it. The friction is what prevents the sway. The rust goes away after each use. Consider covering them up when not using/in storage. Also, the directions as I recall did not explain well how to release the sway bars from the hitch. This is probably because it is so easy. There are two little pieces of thin metal (one on each side) that act as release mechanisms. Simply pull out (away from the tow vehicle) and make sure that the sway bar is straight up and down and the sway bar falls out of the holder.

Very solid, well built. Extreme ride improvement!
I purchased the (Fastway e2 2-Point Sway Control Round Bar Hitch, 94-00-1061, 10,000 Lbs Trailer Weight Rating, 1,000 Lbs Tongue Weight Rating, Weight Distribution Kit) primarily for my camper trailer. I did have to make some slight modifications to my campers tongue plate so that I could install the sway bar brackets but it wasn't anything that a little hole saw bit couldn't handle. The installation instructions were so clear and concise that it made getting the weight distribution accurate a breeze. I read a few review where comments were made about the welding and either those few reviews were a fluke or else the manufacturer actually listened because the wels on my system were excellent, ( I do have a good bit of experience with welding for what it's worth). After installation I took my camper on a 2 1/2 hour trip and the difference in the ride was phenominal. I liked and appreciated the difference so much that I contacted the manufacture to order a second set of brackets so that I could use this system on my equipment trailer also. The manufacturer does not sell the complete bracket set seperately but they sent me a link where I could order it from a different website; Now that is customer service. Overall I would give this product a six star review if I could.

Great hitch but be aware of the required specialty socket
This was the first weight distribution hitch, and I am very satisfied. I made a 1200 mile trip and this made the drive much smoother than just using a standard ball hitch alone. We went through icy and snowy roads, winds, etc, and it made the drive much easier. Installation was fairly simple. I am deducting one star because they neither include their special socket for installing the ball hitch nor do they make it easy to purchase it. I couldn’t purchase the kit with the pre-installed ball because my horse trailer has a 2” hitch. Finding someone that could install the ball was a huge pain and inconvenience. They could have easily designed the main hitch to not require a special socket, or included it in the kits that do not have balls pre installed. I would recommend this hitch but please be aware of this issue before purchasing.

The safety of the hitch!!
We put this equalizer hitch on the truck and camper yesterday, 16 July, 2023. We left this morning for a cross country trip and didn't make it an hour from home. All 5 lug bolts broke off and the tire wrecked the camper upon its exit. What your here for though is to know that the hitch worked perfectly. The trailer didn't whip once, the truck is unscathed from what could have been a terrible wreck, and the white car that was passing us didn't end up wrecked along with us. This hitch saved the lives of those in that white car and the lives of those of us in the truck. We are so thankful that we put this equalizer hitch on, and we are even more thankful that when it was put to the test it kept us all safe. Assembly and disassembly was fairly easy. I bought the one with the ball already attached.

Bought a Husky 32217 for a bit more money and very happy with it
Steer clear of this hitch. I ordered it and began installing. Noticed that the hitch head (where the ball mounts) was welded a little crooked. You definitely want a straight line to ensure each bar is tensioned evenly. Decided to ask the manufacturer to send me a new head under warranty rather than packaging the whole, heavy set up again and returning to Amazon. When I called, they tried to deny it was theirs! Said some third party companies were selling their hitches and I'd need to call them. After some debate, they finally agreed to send me a new head. Got it about a week later and the one they sent me was even more crooked than the first one!!! Sent the whole set back for a refund - thank god for Amazon prime! Bought a Husky 32217 for a bit more money and very happy with it. The quality is 100x better. The instructions are very clear. Installed quickly and worth a little more money. And the Husky has the ball pre-mounted and torqued - less work and no need for huge wrench.

Not a lot to say except it works.

Excellent product!-
Well designed, well made WD hitch. Virtually eliminates yawing due to the built in sway control, as well as pitching (porpoising). I have driven in 70-80 KM crosswinds with no deviation from a straight line with my tow vehicle. The setup is really quite simple. Have the ball torqued correctly by a garage if you don't have the tools and you are off to the races. I'm not saying everyone should do their own setup - but a few simple concepts should allow many to accomplish this. Sadly there are many videos on YouTube that illustrate how not to do it correctly and it is quite obvious on the roadways. Update: There is no need to remove the torsion bars when backing up since they slide along the bracket without hindrance. However, if you are backing into a site (other spot) that leaves the trailer on an incline compared to your tow vehicle - you may have some difficulty unhitching and removing the torsion bars. It is best to remove them before backing up in this situation.

TERRIBLE SHIPPING!!
This is an excellent WDH. I have a 2015 Dodge Grand Caravan and tow a Flagstaff E-Pro 15TB. Makes a huge difference. Easy to install. Highly recommend this hitch assist. HOWEVER, once Landmark transferred the package to Canada Post at the border, it disappeared. Last tracking showed it had just left a nearby sorting facility and then disappeared. For two weeks!! I submitted a ticket to CP who told me they couldn't find it and had closed the matter. I drove to my local post office and the person said, Oh ya. We have that in the back. Box all smashed and parts missing. No call, no email. Clearly no effort on the part of CP. Amazon was excellent and provided part compensation. Thank you Amazon. Canada Post- any employee that could have helped me and chose not to, you are an embarrassment to the rest of your organization.

Good Quality at a Great Price
Good price compared to others. Clean installation however I had to use some exeptions when installing mine. The trailer tonge brackets had to be installed upside down to allow the sway bars to attach smoothly. Overall I would recommend.

Safety
Was easy to install, step by step instructions. I have more knowledge about the hitch by reading the instructions first. Proper hitch to tow my travel trailer

Good hitch but has some install hurdles to overcome.
Most importantly I was very happy with the function of this hitch. The added 100 lbs on your tow vehicle is worth it. Prior to it's install the trailer had some sway and after every hump in the road my F-150 would pitch up and down in the front end. After install the pitching was virtually eliminated and sway was non existent. Now, the install did have a couple of issues. Just so you know as other reviewers have indicated a 2 5/16" ball with a 1 1/4" shank requires 450 ft lbs of torque. That is a lot of torque and you will find it difficult to find a place with the torque wrench of that capacity. When I did find a shop a shallow 3/4 drive 1 7/8" socket won't fit on the ball nut because the hitch head don't have the clearance to fit the socket on. I was able to go to the 1" shank vs the 1 1/4 " ball shank because my trailer is under 5000lbs and you can get the socket on the smaller ball nut to torque it within the confines of the hitch head. If you watch the Fastway video for the hitch install tutorial it is pointed out they have a special socket you can purchase to torque the 1 1/4' shank ball on the hitch head. If you are a Gorilla groncher and tight is enough you won't have any problem with any of the above. The second issue is the minimum number of spacers you can actually use? The written instructions indicate minimum 5 spacers and max. of 9. Again the Fastway video tutorial clearly shows the trainer selecting 4 spacers to start with as with his experience that works best for lighter trailers/set ups. I used the video for my install reference and mine set up very nicely. So here is the goods. You will need at least a 250 ft lb torque wrench to finish the hitch install (other than the torque of the ball nut) or be the Gorilla groncher. If your trailer is under 5000 lbs buy a 1" shank ball and no special socket is required to torque the smaller ball nut on the hitch head (the shank reducing bushing comes with the hitch). If you need the 1 1/4" shank ball because of your trailer in excess of 5000 lbs buy the modified socket with the hitch from Fastway from the get go. Or .... be the Gorilla and tight is enough and the complete hitch install will be quite quick. FYI - Fastway E2 hitch is Engineered in the USA . Manufactured in China to meet Progress Mfg. Inc.'s quality standards.
