Reviews can only point out certain features. I tried three types of Mack's ear plugs. Mack's Slim Fit: These worked the best for me. Standard size drug store foam earplugs seem a bit too large for my ear canal so they tend to work loose over time as they expand but the Slim Fit's stayed secure in place and are comfortable, plus the tip is blunt rather then pointed as in the next type I tried. Mack's Dreamgirl: A touch too small for me plus they have pointed tips that can irritate when pushed in firmly. Mack’s ThermaFit: Interesting concept but not for me. Large diameter cylindrical ear plugs that initially rolled up OK for insertion but upon expansion worked their way loose due to their size.
