Oneida Chateau Dinner Spoons Silverware Set for 4, Flatware

Over the years I had lost a piece or two of this Château Oneida flatware. I was very happy to find that I could get replacements. Oneida is an excellent source of flatware. The replacement pieces matched my original set. I would highly recommend them for any of their products.

Lovely appearance, and matches somewhat well with an older pattern that can no longer be purchased.

I like these spoons. They don't bend in ice cream and have held up well.

I am very pleased with the quality of these spoons. My only complaint is that they don’t have quite the same bend that the ones from 20 years ago do. Not a deal breaker, just a bummer. I have straightened one or two out to match, but they are sturdy, and it was not easy.

This is a perfect replacement for the larger spoon in the Chateau place setting. It is good quality & a perfect replacement for spoon in my base setting that has been lost. The seller’s description is 100% correct for the item you are buying. Delivery & package was excellent. It is very difficult to find the correct larger & smaller replacement spoons for the Chateau setting because of the descriptions used for the “larger serving spoon & smaller teaspoon”. This is the larger “tablespoon” for the base table setting. It is not Chateau’s “serving spoon”. I will buy from seller again.

I bought three sets of add-ons for our 40-year old Oneida Chateau stainless--salad and dinner forks, and teaspoons--as a gift for my wife. I was a little concerned about other reviews commenting on overall quality and slightly lighter weight. The units we received look fine, and I weighed a salad fork, dinner fork, and teaspoon as soon as I opened them, using a postal scale, along with the comparable pieces from our original stainless set. All three weigh exactly the same as the originals. The appearance and detail in the pattern appear close enough on casual inspection. Remains to be seen how they stand up to the dishwasher but so far so good.

I like the design.

If I could only prevent my guests from throwing my silverware in the trash!

These are a good match for the set I have which are 20 years old and in like new condition...but these new ones are not as heavy or not the quality of my originals.
