As you know to install the T5 HO bulb to the fixture, as instructed in the manual, after slipping the tube into the sockets we need to "carefully" rotate the bulb 90 degree for it to click into the operating position. It is nearly impossible to make this rotation with this fixture without breaking the bulb. The rotating part in the sockets is just too hard. I had to use a tool in lieu of the bulb to force rotating that part a dozen of time to make it "worn out" a bit and loose before I could try to put in the bulb and rotate. Two fixtures in my order behaved the same. It could also be very possible you can’t rotate the bulb out when you need to replace. Fortunately it's not end of the world. You can use a screw driver to disassemble the sockets and get the bulb out, put them back again the make them reusable. Other than that this fixture seems to be good. I like its suspension design. You can easily slide the two hook points along the length of the fixture and easily fix them at any positions. The made of hook points seem a little weak. Hope they don't break and drop the fixture. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great light! *by N***E on Reviewed in the United States on January 31, 2016* I'm using this light on a 20 gallon tall, reef aquarium. I needed something more than my 2 bulb HO fixture and this is almost perfect. The light itself is working great and the bulb ends are protected by a plastic sleeve and o-rings. (Doesn't come with a bulb) and it's simple to install. If you break a bulb putting one in or removing, you probably need help tying your shoes as well. Seriously. Another thing is this fixture sets on the tank nicely, but is closer to the water on a plastic rim aquarium than I'd like. If you use the mounts it comes with for a rimless aquarium, the height would be up a bit and better suited for an aquarium. This can be hung too, and comes with a nice cable kit. All in all, great high output fixture with lots of uses. You just need your own 24inch HO t5 bulb. Usually around 20 bucks.Update:2/17/16. The initial fixture I got failed within a couple of weeks. Amazon return was super quick and easy. The replacement fixture is working as it should so far. I hope this doesn't happen again. The light fixture comes with expandable legs so it can fit a variety of tanks (with rims or without). In addition to this it comes with aquarium mounting brackets for rimless tanks and a suspension kit if you'd like to hang it from the ceiling. It also comes with a dual timer (usually cost about $10.) Given the extras I feel like I only paid about $30 for this lamp! The reflector is highly polished and the overall profile is very slick. Overall, awesome purchase!So why 4 stars? As stated in previous reviews the bulbs are extremely difficult to install. I recommend using a flat head screwdriver to turn the sockets back and forth a few dozen times. This will loosen them up so it's easier to turn the bulb.
