When a robot turns out to have been programmed to kill, he begins to uncover a homicidal plot to create killer robots... and his son becomes a target. /The Shadow Riders (1982) Tom Selleck (TV's Magnum P.I.) and Sam Elliot (Tombstone) star as brothers who battled on opposing sides of the Civil War only to return home to discover that their family, including a younger brother and one of the brothers' fiance, have been kidnapped by a marauding band of rebel guerrillas who refuse to accept the defeat of the Confederacy. Review: A Little known but well done movie of World War II - I thought this was a well done movie with Tom Selleck starring as General Dwight D Eisenhower in the weeks leading up to the Allied Invasion of Europe ( D-Day ) of World War II. The supporting cast also was excellent. It took a little time to get used to seeing Tom Selleck bald, but he did a a very credible job in portraying the anguish and doubts that the real Eisenhower must have gone through leading up to the actual invasion

I thought this was a well done movie with Tom Selleck starring as General Dwight D Eisenhower in the weeks leading up to the Allied Invasion of Europe ( D-Day ) of World War II. The supporting cast also was excellent. It took a little time to get used to seeing Tom Selleck bald, but he did a a very credible job in portraying the anguish and doubts that the real Eisenhower must have gone through leading up to the actual invasion

I had been looking for the DVD Countdown to D Day with Tom, Selleck, an A & E movie. It considered one of his best performances. It is. There are also 2 other DVDs which I have yet to watch. The quality was good with the exception of my having to crank up the volume to hear the sound. Otherwise ot was great.
