Review: Well Made, Emily Chugs Along on her Battery-Operated Engine - Emily is a well-made addition of the line of Thomas & Friends engine. She chugs along sturdily on her battery-operated motor, and the bright gold accents on her green paint job make her pretty. I love the story of Emily: "She became fascinated with Caitlin being able to go at such high speeds and wondered what it would be like to be fast, becoming depressed when she could not do so. However, in the end, she managed to save Caitlin when she descended down a steep hill with broken brakes." (Caitlin is my granddaughter's name and we're still looking for a copy of that engine in the Track Master's size.) Fisher Price toys are always well made and offer great play value, and this train is no exception.
Review: Great for any Thomas train lover - My son is obsessed with any “Thomas” toy. They are all good and sturdy toys, even if the children are rough with them. Some are a little over priced, Emily was a reasonable price.

A: No sorry. That one only move on plastic tracks, but my son loves it.

A: No, just the train. You have to buy the railway separatedly

A: It's more a kids train,  but would be fine for an adult.

**Q: Does this work on battery?**
A: Yes it needs 2 AAA batteries.

Emily is a well-made addition of the line of Thomas & Friends engine. She chugs along sturdily on her battery-operated motor, and the bright gold accents on her green paint job make her pretty. Bought for my kid’s birthday since his current interest in toys revolves around Thomas & Friends. Did not include the 2 batteries required to make it work but was not an issue since I keep a giant pack of batteries just to keep a fleet of these toy trains running. This item works as designed and appears to be made of quality materials. No issues.
