Monstrum Low Profile Picatinny Riser Mount (0.5" H x 5.7" L) Precise, solid, .5" high riser. Just what I needed to bump up my scope height. The riser I received was different than that shown in the product description photos. It did not have the "Monstrum" logo printed on it, (I am Ok with that) and the mounting nuts are hex nuts, tightened with a wrench, not the knurled thumb knobs shown in the pic. I am also Ok with that. This works for my needs. Price seems fair.

both clamp bolts protrude into the picitiny rails so you have to use whatever exactly picitanny spacing it is made for. i had to modify mine by grinding off the side of one of the boot shafts so it would work on my rail. otherwise its well designed. not sure why they didnt take the time to shave off the bottom of the shaft on the one bolt from the factory other than it was a mistake in engineering or cutting a step out in the manufacturing process to save money.

Good quality. Fitment was exact. Installed in seconds. Used it to tie two planes together as one, rather than a riser. Serves the purpose perfectly.

Very high quality. It's a little heavier than I expected, but it is a solid piece of aluminum and it is rock solid once installed. It provided perfect clearance for the 50mm objective bell scope on my AR. The only possible issue I could see beyond the weight is the large knobs to tighten the rail blocked my scope ring releases when mounted on the same side. They are handy for hand tightening, but it would be nice if it were shipped with regular nuts for a more compact installation option. It is a great value just as it is, though. All in all, I highly recommend this riser.

Easy to install. Works well to raise scope to acceptable level to mate with clip on NVD. Have not encountered any loosening on recoil; however, I used blue loctite and torqued to 45 ft lbs. The weight of the riser is negligible and its construction seems durable. So far very pleased with product.

Works as it should

My DPMS Oracle is a basic low-end rifle that I intentionally purchase with an eye toward building out paying attention solely to weight and secondarily to cost. One of the challenges of my Oracle was to transfer my AimPoint Red-Dot Pro and Vortex VMX-3T magnifier. The Oracle has a 5" picatinny but the fore grip is a MOE style plastic grip with no rail. The height of the fore-grip is higher than the picatinny and the combo Red-Dot and magnifier will not fit on the picatinny alone. This low profile riser raises the height of my red-dot to a point above the height of the fore grip. Now by simply installing a light weight picatinny on the top of the fore grip for the magnifier, I will have both sitting one in front of the other and ready for use.

Great rail for my setup. I’d recommend for anyone’s setup.

Works well for both increased height and or extension of a small pic section

I have 2 risers, this one, and the 1" High costs $20. I like this one better for (1) 35% less money (2) This one comes with two cross sided screws (I don't know what it is called), the metal piece sits between rail slots to prevent it from sliding off the mounted position and the other one has flat screws and sits on the rail flush

This riser raises the sight only 0.5", NOT 0.8". Be aware. It served my purpose but perhaps not yours if you need that extra 0.3" of height. Otherwise it's just ok. Install it carefully and torque it carefully or it will cant slightly. I'm disappointed it is no better than Feyachi. It'll do, only just though.
