Hormel Chili Hot with Beans, 15 Ounce (Pack of 6)

I obviously love Hormel Chili and this Hot one with beans is very good. I prefer the Hormel that isn't hot by Hormel but which you can add your own hot sauce. All of Hormel Chili tastes the best for out of the can meals. That takes care of the protein now just add some kind of vegetables or a salad and something to drink - it just makes my day complete!

As far as canned chili goes, this is my favorite! I tried the original Hormel chili, and found that it was really bland and I had to add more spice and more heat. Hormel Chili Hot with Beans doesn't need anything else added to it except garnish (cheese and crackers for me!). It's got enough heat to make my nose run, but not too much that it's painful. It's also pretty thick straight out of the can, so I add just a little bit of water to account for the crackers that I add in at the end. All that being said, it's much more cost effective to make a big batch of chili from scratch, but this is a great option when you don't have the time or resources to make your own chili.

I was contacted by the seller to clear up the apparent confusion caused by my review, which pretty much rightfully could be construed as negative. I did receive an order - quite promptly at that -, just not the exact order I had made. Specifically I had ordered the HOT Chili. We received the non-HOT Chili, BUT we consumed the product anyway. It was and is a fine product, just not my personal favorite. The seller has offered and I accepted a full refund, for which I heartily thank them. I would order from them again, as both versions of the product are tremendous.

The items came with the labels being eaten off due to water damage. The tops of the cans had mold growing on them. I immediately threw all of them in the trash. The items were beyond terrible

Love the chilli

This is the only Hormel chili I will buy. It isn't too hot nor too bland. Nothing beats homemade, but in the pinch, this chili is pretty good. Hormel's other varieties, however, leave me asking: "Where's the flavor?".
