Premium Cucumber Body Scrub Set, Exfoliating Dead Sea Salt Scrub

Love, love, love this stuff. I’ve gotten both cucumber and jasmine and love them both. The cucumber scent is very light and refreshing. The jasmine leaves a light floral scent. My skin gets oh-so-dry during the winter and using this once a week in the shower really makes a difference. I stir the bit of oil on top with the salt scrub below using the little wooden spoon that comes with it. After it’s mixed well I just use my hands (not the spoon) to grab the mixture out of the jar and start at my shoulders to my arms (using a loofah that also comes with it) then thighs down to feet. I do my tummy, but not with the loofah bc that skin doesn’t require scrubbing. And voilà! Super soft skin. After rinsing all of the salt mixture off there’s a LIGHT oil feel on your skin. I take advantage of that and use Cér a Ve lotion before drying off. Just a little goes a long way but it locks in the moisture. My skin is so smooth now! I rated “sensitive skin” as a 3 bc I really don’t know how this would work on someone with truly sensitive skin. I would think any scrub would be rough on a person with sensitive skin.

I have ordered a few different salt scrubs and not really liked them but this product is amazing! The package was sent with no damage or tampering, a lovely note inside from the owner and it also came with a free oatmeal soap to sample and a free scrub pad. Smells delicious, worked as described and expected. Other scrubs with essential oils have left a super greasy feel on my skin after using them, but not this one. It did have a thin layer of oil left on my skin but definitely not a greasy feel. I would reccomended this product, and soap too!

Very, very pleased with this scrub! I was a bit skeptical from some of the more negative comments in the reviews, but I decided to take a chance because the brand impressed me with their use of simple, pure ingredients and my overall perception of their dedication to making a quality product (They even email you a ‘tips/how to’ that I found very informative and I recommend you should read it before using, especially if you’ve not had experience with this kind of product before). I had researched other similar scrubs on Amazon and one or another either failed for me because of some additive to their ‘all natural’ product (like micro beads) or if the quality was there, pureSCRUBS beat them out for me on value. Most of the quality scrubs come in either 10 or 12oz sizes and for a similar price, this is a generous 16oz. Not to mention the little freebees of the oatmeal soap, spoon and loofa was a nice touch. I purchased the Dead Sea Salt Cucumber scrub. Here’s my overall comments on it:Most negative reviews stated the scents were overpowering. In the container, yes. It is highly concentrated, BUT during application in the shower, it mellowed quite a bit and was wonderful. Very ‘aroma therapy’. I can understand if someone is highly sensitive to scents, then this might not be for you or maybe try the unscented version. But give it a chance during application and I think you’ll see the difference.A little goes a LONG way. The little spoon they include is actually quite accurate I found for portioning out the scrub. For me, a rounded scoop worked perfect for applying one to each arm, leg and about two for my body. Everyone is different, but I’d recommend start there, but that seemed to be fine.Is it oily? Yes. This seemed to be another common complaint. Keep in mind these are pure essential oils and salt. That’s it. Again, my recommendation is use sparingly and while you will feel like you have grit and oil on you, after rinsing with warm water and patting dry, you just end up feeling ‘soft’. I felt very refreshed and ‘spa treated’ after using. And yes, your shower floor will get oily. Is what it is...but next time I might try putting down an old towel to soak up some of the oils. Can be rinsed out after and I think will reduce it sticking to the shower floor, but this wasn’t too bad for me.I didn’t give this 5 stars as the one thing I think the brand can improve on is packaging. Several complaints mentioned leaking in shipping. I as well had this problem. Wasn’t horrible, but the oil had leaked out and the outside of the product box was oily. I would challenge pureSCRUBS to come up with more secure packaging as this being a mail order product. (Amazon is doing you no favors by shipping in a cheap thin plastic bag the product was tossed in, as how mine arrived.) So if you haven’t already, please pureSCRUBS work on better sealed packaging for your wonderful product.Overall I enjoy the cucumber scrub very much. Based off my positive experience, I do plan on trying a few more scents. While this might not be for everyone, I personally recommend giving it a try if you are looking for a really nice product to give yourself that ‘pampered spa’ treatment. Thank you, pureSCRUBS.

Makes my skin feel soft and refreshed. Skin looks healthier after 1st use. Smells great too!

I love this scrub! I used to use a sugar scrub, but I found that even though sugar exfoliated well, it left me with a sticky-ish feeling and clothes didn’t slide well against skin. I did a lot of searching for a salt scrub instead, and I loved that this one had such natural ingredients in it. It was hard to find something that didn’t have chemicals or ingredients I didn’t want. I also love that it’s a small business, and I feel like the owner puts thought into making her product a quality product. It came packaged so cutely — in a little box with the spoon and loofah pad and an extra sample of another scrub. I will say, don’t be put off by the strong smell when you first open the box — it smells veryyyy intense because of the concentrated oils. This is NOT what the product actually smells like. When I actually opened and used it in the shower, it smelled incredible (I got the cucumber one), like candy! The scrub and the oils are wonderful! I also got one as a present for my sister. Will definitely buy again! :)
