A brilliant compact set ideal for lots of those small and fiddly jobs. I bought a full size Draper socket set back in the 70’s and that is still going strong. I have no doubt this set is of the same quality and durability - although I won’t be around to find out 😂 Great purchase and highly recommended.

Very happy with this set, used within its tolerances it should last, it's only a 1/4" drive after all. Having said that, i'm very impressed, it gives you options, even the nut spinner handle has a square drive at its head, to turn it into a t-bar. The little ratchet has a good feel to it, very nice motion and sound from the teeth as it clicks round, you even have a choice of deep and normal sockets, and a fitting for using standard hex bits/fittings. Great little set for the jobs where my 3/8" or 1/2" drive isn't needed. 👍

Excellent socket set , not top of range , very good metal clasp locking box compared to flimsy plastic box's and plastic locks that break off , this will help me in my daily job of repairs to wheelchairs, good long deep sockets sizes 5mm to 13mm , bit socket for 18 various bits supplied very handy and good range of small 1/4 drive sockets 4mm to 14mm , would recommend this socket set for beginners and experienced mechanics and trades

Draper is decent kit. This is not professional quality, but will be good enough for home use or light trade use. Comes in a robust hinged metal case with 2 latches on the lid. The inner tray is rather flimsy, but has proved robust enough in use. There are no marked places for each size of socket, so you need to be a bit disciplined in putting them back carefully with the size markings visible. The screwdriver/nut spinner handle is a bit smaller than I expected (compared to my old basic Halfords set). However, it has a square socket on the back so you can connect the T handle for more torque. The screwdriver bits come in two little removable strip holder, which is good. The ratchet handle is smooth in use. One small niggle is the screwdriver bit holder that is part of the set has a ball detent held in place with an external spring clip. I have found it quite difficult to insert and remove the bits. However, I expect this to soften up with use. This is a 45 piece set at a very competitive price so there is a limit to what it is reasonable to expect, but it will do everything I will need it to do. UPDATE: After a couple of years of use, I gave this to my son, but immediately bought the same one again for myself. It has been a really useful piece of it and excellent value.

Excellent bit of kit.

This has a nice metal Box. Nice tray. Sponge protection in lid. Butter smooth I mean butter smooth ratchet. Well made. I expect it will last a long time. It replaces my expensive 1/4 that I used before I retired. X Motor Mechanic. I think this is better than that one. I was amazed at the quality. No stupid blown plastic box. To deal with. A tip of an old guy. Put a bit of Molybdenum Disulphide Grease in the ratchet head and on the hinge of the box. The price as it is on offer at moment is great value. Make it last years. Well done.

lovely little set, i normally use 1/2" (cars) or 3/8" (motorbikes), nice to have a metal case, shame there's no handle on it.

This is a superb little piece of kit. It has all the socket (shallow and deep), as well as the ratchet and handle for driver flexibility. It’s also about £20 cheaper than a similar draper set at tool station, yet offers more tools.

It does everything it says, the tools are made of good quality material. Only downside is that bits move easily in the box.
