Are the ships painted?

Yes all the ships are painted with multiple colors. I'm a miniature painter and didn't need to retouch these at all.

Is this game being reprinted?

I asked over Twitter on June 19, 2019, "Any chance to get new prints of Xia Games?" Answer was from Far Off Games, June 21, 2019 "There will be a reprint, but it's a long process! Hoping it will be as quick as possible. 3:32 PM my time stamp PDT.

Why is it so expansive? Is it out of print or something like that?

It may be out of print again. Checking the price at the time of my response, it is over twice to three times what I paid for it several months ago ($250-$300). I would wait to see if they reprint it before picking it up. Great game with good quality pieces i.e. painted miniatures, metal coins, plastic tokens and pieces, etc., but the current prices seem a little steep. I paid $85 for it and think it would even have paid $100, but not what they are asking for it now.

why is this game $300?
