Auto shutoff works great, I don’t have to worry about forgetting it. Love how big the tank is, fills up my whole living room with mist. Looks nice on my desk and isn’t loud at all. Holds a lot of water so I don’t have to refill it all the time. Diffuses essential oils well and smells great without being overpowering. Easy to fill and clean, way less annoying than my old one. The lighting options are cute, but I usually just leave it off. Mist level is strong enough to notice but not distracting. Seems well made for the price so far. Great for bedtime, it makes the room feel more comfortable.

I ordered the Asakuki WiFi Oil Diffuser. When I first got it, I tried to connect to the WiFi, but wasn't able to. I figured that it had to be something that I wasn't doing. So, I finished setting it up. I really like the size 700ml. The mist is nice and being able to adjust between two levels is great. My last oil diffuser was supposed to have two levels, but I wasn't able to tell the difference. The lighting is nice being able to switch between three different setting: Gradient, Fixed & Nightlight. My only complaint and maybe I'm missing something, but when switching to Nighlight, it's a fixed color. I would love to have a low level gradient setting. Now back to the WiFi, the box stated that I'd been sent the WiFi version, the diffuser did not have the the WiFi button. After unsuccessfully try to connect to my WiFi, I contacted Asakuki customer support. They asked that I send them a couple of pictures. After which they asked for my address and let me know that they were sending me a new replacement unit. With the WiFi you can control the lighting as well as the strength of the mist from your phone, Android & Apple. The best thing though is that you can set up separate schedules for the Lighting and Mist settings. And not just one global setting, but for each day of the week. Have it turn on when you want and turn off when you want. One schedule for lighting and a different one for the mist. Amazing, I didn't even have to ask, Asakuki customer support offered and also told me to keep the non-WiFi unit that was packed in the wrong box. Amazing! So don't hesitate to purchase this Asakuki WiFi Oil Diffuser.

UPDATE: after about 2 weeks my original unit fully stopped working. I reached out to their customer service and they were extremely helpful! they sent me out a 2nd unit no questions asked free of charge and continued to follow up with me even after receiving the product to make sure everything was working well and honestly that’s hard to find now a days. I have had the unit a couple weeks only used about 3/4 times thus far and so far the unit is working fine. I will say I primarily bought this product because of the 700ml tank size that is promoted however I find that if you fill the unit with 700ml or even 500ml of water the vapor production is extremely low to nonexistent and really underwhelming however if you allow it to keep running by the time it’s down to about 300ml of water the vapor production does pick up and get quite a bit stronger so it’s more like a 300ml tank in my eyes. The Run time is great on a full 700ml I get about 24hrs on heavy vapor mode and about 12 on 300ml or so of water. Everything else the Alexa connection, their app to control lighting etc is extremely easy to set up and works flawlessly the. I updated this from 2 stars to 4 only reason I can’t give this 5 stars is because of the vapor production at a full tank and the original unit going out. But I can assure you if you get this product your in good hands from a customer service side. I purchased the Asakuki oil diffuser with wifi. The main reason I purchased this product was because of the tank size and all of the positive reviews. I received my unit today very quickly basically next day shipping. Excited to use the unit I read through all the instructions, connected the unit to the 2.4G wifi and my Alexa device without any issue. I filled the unit up with exactly 700ml of water and my favorite essential oils and powered the unit on just to find out it produced 0 vapor. I attempted to change the vapor strengths from strong to weak and back to strong again along with powering the unit off changing outlets the device was plugged into and back on again and still nothing. The unit is clearly defective, I have contacted the seller and hoping their customer service is good and a replacement unit is sent. I will update the review accordingly based on their response.

does not leak if you put the lid on the right way. all the bad reviews says it leaks is because the user doesn't align the lid properly. it's a square so it can go on several ways wrong. you need to align the lights for timer / high low switch to corresponding place. see picture where i'm pointing . very easy once you know where the vapor exits to put on the same way each time. make sure it's on straight and level. it's very easy. i have ran this thing for 100s of hours already without a drop of water leaking. capacity is awesome. 700 ml gets you a lot of time between fills. i love it. i have the 500 ml round one as well . that's awesome i gave that to my son. if you need a simple diffuser that's easy to clean and fill. this is it. i love it. asakuki always makes good stuff .

I rarely write reviews but based upon some of the people who are clearly technologically-challenged, that wrote negative reviews, I had to write this. I bought this diffuser because I was disgusted with the price of the refills for the Aera unit. It works incredibly well but the refills were $55 and they wouldn’t issue a promo code to existing customers. Therefore I went out to search for a new device and found this. This diffuser works incredibly well. The app is absolutely outstanding. However, the instructions are just average but I know how to set up smart devices. I have a lot of experience in that area. If you are not familiar with how to set up a smart device then I understand why it may be difficult for you. Just know that if you get someone to help you out, you will ultimately be extremely happy because the product works unbelievably well and the app does everything you want it to do. You can schedule both the spray and light to turn on and turn off at any time, in any number of ways. You cannot just schedule it to turn on and have it automatically turn off. You just simply have to schedule the turn off. Not a big deal. I also connected it to Alexa. Again, it works incredibly well. The people with the green light flashing only means that they didn’t connect it properly. You can dim the light not only through the app but also through Alexa. You can also change the color not only through the app but through Alexa. The only thing you cannot do is if you decide to turn it on through Alexa versus setting a schedule it will come on in weak spray mode and if you want to change it, you would have to go into the app and change it from weak to strong. They could fix this by adding it as a setting inside the app. It’s not a big deal. By the way I also tested unplugging the device and putting it in a new room and it automatically re-connected to Wi-Fi and I did not have to reset up the device. Once again, users just don’t know what they’re doing. For your information, I added 12 drops of my favorite essential oils with 700 mL of water. In closing, the guy with the attached review video who didn’t realize that the power cord is inside the reservoir literally made me laugh. Some people are just clueless. If you are not technologically savvy, still buy this device and get your tech-friend to set it up for you. You won’t regret it.

I purchased this based on the reviews. However, the reviews I read did not cover the Wi-Fi issue, the lack of a strong enough mist and the overall failure as a company to fully embrace transparency. First off, I downloaded the App from the Apple AppStore. That was a breeze. What happened next was less than easy. Apparently you need to have your router working at a 2.4Ghz spectrum. If your router is a 5Ghz spectrum level, you're out of luck. You'll have to figure out how to drop your router down in order for this diffuser to connect to the app on your phone. If you can't do that (I have Google WiFi and Apple products, so I cannot), you won't be able to connect. Having said that, if you can't connect, you can't utilize the timer settings. The three buttons on the side of the diffuser can be figured out if you use the pictures on the Amazon listing. If you refer to the Quick Set-Up Manual, you won't find anywhere that tells you when you press the buttons, what the subsequent beeps mean. They spend more time explaining how to set it up on the App and how to set it up on Alexa than it does to even explain how to basically use it. This diffuser is built to be used by the App. If you can't use the App, it would be very difficult to use this product. I was able to figure out how to choose the "strong" setting in the misting settings, but it is a very weak stream. I have another diffuser that has a much stronger mist that it puts out in comparison to this one. I was extremely disappointed at this. After being frustrated for most of the evening yesterday, I finally e-mailed the company asking for a more detailed list of how to use the diffuser. They were quick to reply, giving me the instructions via email, but that's not something that a normal customer should have to do. As a paying customer, I should be able to have those instructions within the package as it arrives, not after I lose 3 hours of frustration and exasperation. They give it a 30 day money back guarantee, no questions asked. I'll give it a couple more days before I decide whether to keep it or not. As of this review posting, I am leaning towards sending it back. I expected more from this experience.

4.5 stars Setup: Quick and simple. Instructions are to download the Tuya Smart app but I recognized it as being identical to the Smart Life app that I already had. Many smart products use the Smart Life app and I verified that the two interfaces were the same. Controlling via Alexa and the app is instantaneous. The reservoir is huge compared to other water diffusers. A label on the reservoir states "72 hours" and from what I've seen, I believe it. Having a large reservoir is much more convenient than water diffusers with smaller reservoirs. I previously purchased the "Amazon's Choice" diffuser for half the price of this one. However, that one didn't come with a remote nor wifi functionality so I had to turn it on and off manually and refill it every 5-6 hours of use. With all of this said, I also purchased a waterless diffuser that scents a large room. The 120mL of essential oil in that waterless diffuser is calculated to last an entire year without refilling! Scheduling: This is where the pain came in. The app's scheduling function gives you two functions: high/low and on/off. Even with just a few drops of essential oil, the room I have this in already has a strong scent. To overcome this, I wanted to schedule 15 minutes on with the low setting then 15 minutes off, then come back on again 15 minutes later and repeat. However, each entry executes a single action, so if I wanted to cover 12 hours of the day, I would have to enter instructions 48 times: 1) 8am on, 2) 8:15am off, 8:30am on, 8:45am off, etc. However, you're limited to 30 total entries, period. It would be MUCH easier if the app had a feature to turn the diffuser on for x minutes, then off for x minutes for this time period like the waterless diffuser that I have. I hope they add this feature in the app soon. If so, I think this product would be as good as it gets for an affordable water based scent diffuser.

We received the very nice-looking unit; however, I have worked more than two hours trying to connect it to our WiFi including using the pamphlet and Internet Suggestions. 😡🙄😡 This is odd: it arrived in the original box with no packing with a label on the top. 😳 2. I have waited a few days before trying again to connect the unit to WiFi. (Still unsuccessful despite the fact we have a Ring doorbell, several Echo devices as well as speakers that all connected with no issues.). I have been able to get the unit to work without WiFi and am happy enough with that. The blinking green light is annoying for sleep, so I put a piece of electrician’s tape over it, which did not help as it illuminates through the unit (even with a towel over it except for the vapor hole. The reservoir is nice and big, it is attractive even turned off. I will keep the lights off at night. I hope this saves some people the time and hassle I have experienced. I read online that some people were able to connect to WiFi right away and others not until after much effort. 3. After turning off its’ lights at night, there is a blinking light that cannot be turned off. * We have decided to keep the unit despite this flaw, bc we like the large reservoir, strong vapor and attractiveness even when off. *We unplug it each night before we go to bed.

This product arrived with a plug that is not compatible with UK . Why is this?

Se puede usar por medio de una app. Pero necesitas descargar la app China Tuya para poder vincularlo con Alexa. Primero necesitas crear una cuenta en Tuya para poder vincularlo con Alexa. El problema es que la app de Tuya es China y pide hasta los permisos de ubicación para poder dar de alta la cuenta. Por si no lo sabes, China realiza estas prácticas para su sistema de inteligencia (espionaje) internacional. Es una decepción total que un producto que se vende como japonés es un chino disfrazado de oveja. Si te interesa mantener tu confidencialidad, no te lo recomiendo, no hay ninguna garantía de que este dispositivo no sea una puerta de entrada a vicios de seguridad en tu red o en tu teléfono por medio de su app. Hay muchos otros dispositivos que se vinculan con Alexa que no requieren tantos permisos para usar la dómotica.
