Writes smoothly, erases cleanly
I swear, I haven't thought about pencils for 20 or more years, lol until the other day when I used a crappy pencil and had to erase something and all it did was smudge the lead around. I then was on a mission to find decent pencils with good erasers. I didn't want to spend much and I didn't need a pack of 100. I settled on these and they are great. The write smoothly and erase cleanly.

Teacher's Preference - Tasty Erasers
Our grandson's teacher sent a list of things that he "needed" for first grade. I asked for the list to help buy supplies since it was 2 pages long. I am in excess of 60 years old so when we went to school you got what you got. I never really knew - or thought about - there being "brands" of pencils. When these were delivered I understood why she requested this brand. The pencil point (lead) lasts a long time and gets very sharp. Teacher requested pre-sharpened ones and they were sharpened to perfection. The wood is pretty hard too. They's very reasonably priced for such great pencils. Erasers are great and must be tasty because he keeps chewing them off.

i used to think pencils were just for scantrons and bad doodles, but these #2s actually made writing feel weirdly satisfying. the first time i sharpened one, i swear i felt powerful, like the kid who ate paste but still aced the spelling test. the graphite’s smooth, the eraser forgives all my poor life choices, and the smell sends me straight back to second grade chaos. it’s tough too—i’ve dropped, stepped, and even chewed on it (dont ask) and it still writes like it’s proving a point. i keep one behind my ear so i look productive while actually doing nothing. 10/7, highly recommend for anyone who remembers eating paste proudly and thriving anyway.
