best tasting I've had so far, but not what I was looking for
I've been trying to find a caramel akin to what is used in Starbucks drinks, which tends to lean on the smokier / more deep flavor. I've tried torani, ghirardelli, fontana, hollander, and I'd say compared to all of these, this Monin syrup was the best tasting in general. It has a sweet, buttery caramel taste, but unfortunately I'm looking for one more .. sharp? in flavor. Nevertheless, I'd buy this one again for sure as the flavor, compared to its competitors, was very good. A little bit of artificial taste but still significantly less than any other I've tried.

Bottle cap loose and leaked.
The Carmel flavor has a plastic cap, though the seal was not broken, it was not tight and about 3 ounces leaked all over the inside of the box. Good thing it was wax coated cardboard. The Vanilla has a metal cap and was tight and did not leak, but I don’t trust the Carmel sealing integrity, so I won’t buy that again.
