Very well made
Can’t wait to test it in the field I have a feeling it will hold up. This thing hella solid and premium feeling!

Great build, horrible at keeping time.
I bought this watch with high hopes it would surpass my expectations. It didn't. The build is fantastic. The tritium works well. The one thing it's supposed to do, keep time, it sucks at. It would lose time consistently. I did more research into the problem and it's a problem all automatics face, that they are not as accurate as their cheaper counterpart quarts. I will never buy an automatic again, ever. Because I'm not setting my watch once a week for it to be somewhat accurate.

WAS a great watch at a decent price
Well I can say the watch itself is solid and while nothing truly out of the ordinary, it WAS a fair value. Now, with the significant price increase in early 2022, the value is completely gone. Not that I am being cheap, there are just way too many other options in the market in this price range, and let’s be honest in that most people do not know Marathon from Timex. I unfortunately will move on to other brands moving forward, if I am spending $1800 my options are pretty broad, close to the price for some Tudor models and another couple dozen brands with exceptional fit and finish. Maybe Marathon is wanting to be able to focus on government contracts and are trying to price themselves out of the retail market?

If the world were to end tomorrow you would be wearing a Marathon
First off the watch is a no nonsense tool watch that happens to look good. It is extremely accurate, robust and ISO certified and built tough and Swiss made mechanical and highly reliable shop with confidence highly recommended.

Built though - a real tool watch
Totally awesome tool watch, a real one. It wears high on the wrist, but not too much (to be considered if you plan to wear it with nato/Zulu band)... But hey, it's a tool watch !

Looses 2 to 4 seconds a day
I had high expectations for this watch being so much money. The watch wears incredibly well with a rubber band. My problem is it loses 2 to 4 seconds a day. I know this is with in their specifications but I would rather it gain time than loose time. I am still wearing it but I always have to adjust every day for the lose time. If you don’t mind that then this is an incredible watch. Easy to view anytime of the day or night.
