USB 5V to DC 12V Power Cable - Compatible With Dot/Pop Device, Voltage Step Up Converter, Power Supply Adapter (4mm x 1.7mm)

Works as expected, my original Amazon echo show 5 plug had been damaged. I have a multi USB port plug from a well known brand with 6 ports and I though it would be great to utilise this as suppose to using another wall socket. This purchase was bought with no expectation that it would work and I can happily say it works. For anyone else wanting to know if this works for Amazon Echo Show 5, I can confirm it does noting that I am using it alongside a high watt USB multi plug and for now it's not showing me any power issues or fault but I will change my review if anything changes.

Great item this is a smart item for use in my yacht..

Bought this to power a 3rd gen Echo Dot in the car. It works fine, most of the time. With one end plugged into a USB cigarette lighter adapter and the other into the Dot, I have plenty of length to route the cable how I want. The only issue I've had is that on the odd occasion of going over a pothole or bump, the power has cut to the Dot for a split second. On checking the connections at either end, it appears the Dot end isn't quite as tight a fit as it should be. This has only happened a few times, not enough for me to really worry about it, although the Dot is still accessible at this time, may be an issue if I mount it under the dashboard. Bottom line is that it works for my intended purpose, well enough that I would probably by another if I needed one.

When off grid we can use this via a usb socket and it works fine. Can’t comment on the high volume comments but we don’t need it blasting and would doubt the product is the limiting factor, more like the usb socket itself. We are very happy with it anyhow.

Only works on a 240v USB power point, bought to use on a power Bank not enough milliamps, wasn’t described in the notes of limitations of use.

Did exactly what I wanted, can use my echo dot in my campervan on 12 V brilliant. 😊

No really any good Does not supply enough power for the echo to play on 12v. Turn the volume up to around 4 and it will reboot..waste of money

Doesn't provide enough power for a Pop, if you ask it to do anything it simply restarts. So long as you are just connecting wirelessly or with bluetooth it can handle power, otherwise this is useless.

I've been using this product for maybe three or four months and maybe even longer I'm not very good with time. It definitely is a must as it gives it word ability to go just about anywhere. I have mine in my car which is the echo spot and this gives me easy power without all the bulky other equipment that an AC cord would need. So definitely recommended and from what I could tell lonely one company made them so I end up buying a couple extra for my other Echo spots in case I needed them

Fa perfettamente il suo lavoro. Ho integrato Alexa Echo Dot da casa, sul mio mezzo da lavoro nel quale ho internet presente. Attivo luci, inverter, telecamere ed altro, con l’ausilio di interruttori Wi-Fi a mezzo voce o a distanza. Posso anche ascoltare sezioni radio, ecc... al contrario di chi asserisce che ad esempio Alexa non possa essere alimentata in mobilità, questo cavo lo permette perfettamente tramite comune preda USB a 5 volt, per portarla a 12 volt in modo molto stabile. Non scalda assolutamente.

This is a great product, I use it for echo dot cause it has not USB charging cable, I recommend it for everyone who wants to run echo dot in the car
