User
User interface did not work for our application.
Received this microphone and it worked well. The reason I returned it and only gave it three stars is because in order to turn the microphone handset on you have to twist off the battery cover and flip a tiny switch. Then once it is on the display lights up to show frequency and battery status but then the display turns off after a while. It all functioned, but the act of twisting off the battery cover to turn it on and off will not work for our purpose. It is a major step backwards in ease of use compared to our past audio-technical microphones. There is a very small and hard to see & press button on the end of the microphone for muting, but again, not as easy to use as our past mics. The fact that the display turns off makes it difficult for an average person to look at the microphone and know if it is turned on or kit. I’m sure the microphone worked fine, but with new users and the difficult interface it was a non-starter for our use.
