Fit the discs perfectly. No issue with the lid latch some have reported. Safe way the store the accessories and avoid nicks or cuts. I find it to be compact and it sits next to our processor. I recommend.

This is a great way to protect the blades and reduce the clutter. I really like it. My Cuisinart is the 11" model, the DLC-2011, and all of the blades and discs that come with it fit perfectly, including the stem which holds the discs in the fold processor. In total, it holds the standard blade, the dough blade, the stem, and three discs. It looks very elegant and clean with everything inside, and it's much better than throwing all of the parts in a drawer. It protects the blades well, so they'll stay sharper and cleaner longer. Big projects are easier because it's easy to find everything. There's room left for one more disc blade (maybe I'll get a French Fry cutter?). I highly recommend this accessory. The only downside I can think of is that this has to sit on a shelf or counter top -- you can't stack it or let it tip over, or some of the items might fly about. But the positive is that it does look beautiful on a countertop with those gleaming blades inside. I can't understand the negative comments I've read here. The parts fit inside perfectly. It's easy to open and close the lid. It's just lightweight plastic, but once the blades are inside, it has plenty of "heft" which will keep it from tipping over or moving.

Excellent organizer to store the accessories. Takes up some space, but it keeps them from getting lost, in good condition and prevents injury while digging around for other items.

I have had a Cuisinart food processor for about 10 years but there was no way in hell I was going to pay 48 dollars for something to hold the blades. I didn't want to use a basket, as one reviewer suggested because I wanted to keep the blades covered and not risk dropping or knocking over a basket full of razor-sharp parts (this may not be an issue for most of America, but I am a klutz). I have used a Tupperware type container to keep the blades in, which did fine for a long time. The problem with that is that the components must be perfectly dry when stored this way or they will rust. Also, finding a container that they all fit in but wasn't way too big was a challenge Now that my plastic container is cracking, I thought that I would look on amazon and decided to give this a try since it was half price. This blade holder works well. The bottom is open, which allows for ventilation, but it would be nice if something was there, like a grid or other type of bottom to keep your fingers from going through when you move the holder. The locking feature is nice so that you can keep it locked while moving it. The knob, which another reviewer complained about, is flat and does NOT need to pushed in on the holder that I received. That may have been changed that feature since that review was published. The sharp blades are pretty secure but the dough blade just sits there and falls out pretty easily. That is just kind of annoying considering what they charge for this thing. In conclusion, this is a good product. 20-25 dollars is an okay price. It is not worth 48 dollars. There is room for improvement. Mainly, it does need something on the bottom. For parents of young children, this is NOT CHILDPROOF AT ALL. Keep it well out of reach of little ones.

The holder worked just as designed, fit all my Cuisinart accessories with an extra slot. Cost seems a little high for a plastic doo-dad but no one else seems to make this item.

I'm very happy with my BDH-2 Blade and Disc holder. I hadn't even opened my Cuisinart DLC-10S Food Processor until I finally ordered this, because I knew there was no way I'd feel free to use the processor and leave it accessible without having to hide the blades or risk getting cut. Each of the blades and the disc stem fit neatly in this holder, which I find to be more than sturdy enough. No, the spatula doesn't fit in there, but that is the least of my worries, although I suppose fitting every item in would be nice. I have plenty of utensil canisters and drawers where I can lose, I mean store, the spatula. The holder locks and unlocks easily, with a sturdy turn knob that doesn't require a pull and turn as the old reviews --and the first to pop up-- mention. Is it childproof? No, and I don't feel it is sold as such. Quite certain it could be opened with a bit of effort by young kids, but then again, I feel this is to protect ME, not kids. It is a neat, safe place to store the blades. I'd recommend it to anyone having the Food Processors it works with.

I must have received one of the newer models of this item.. I Haven't had any of the problems mentioned in the other reviews and I read several that said Cuisinart had fixed the lock problem and the problem of getting your hands/fingers up into the blades. I live alone and have no need to lock the cover. When I ordered it I planned to break the lock off and use it like that. However, all I have to do is turn the knob one quarter turn counterclockwise to the detent and it stays in the open position - problem solved. As for getting my hands/fingers up into the stored blades and getting cut: I feel like this is a silly problem to start with. The holder is extremely hard to lift with one hand and when you lift it with two hands there is one simple solution: Don't stick your fingers up into the blades! Duh!!! Another problem solved. (Patient: Doctor it hurts when I do this. Doctor: Don't do it!) It took about 3 seconds to turn the different pieces this way and that until they dropped right into place. It held all of the accessories that came with my 7 cup Cuisinart and left one slot open for the 2mm cutting disk that I will have soon. (When it gets off of back order.) It looks good and sits out in the open on my counter next to my Cuisinart. I recommend this item.

Keeps my blades organized and safe both from cutting stuff and my hands when I pull them out. Keeps them protected from damaging contact with things that will ding the sharp blades

お値段が、、、と思いながらジプロックに入れて100均のファイルケースで保管していました。 買って出して見てでか！でも場所をとるかなと思いましたがファイルボックスと変わらずそれよりもスッキリ収納で買ってよかった。 裏が何もないので本体も洗いやすいと思います。歯が鋭いので移動させる時にそこだけ気をつけたいと思います。

I ordered this item so I could properly store my blades and cutting discs for my Cuisinart food processor. I am happy with the way everything fits in the slots.

Looks good and seems to be sturdy. Time will tell but first impression is most favourable. Is it unbreakable? It is a hard plastic so I think if I drop it, it will break. $90.00 dollars is way too much for a plastic box
