Plate Hangers for the Wall, Heavy Duty Platter Bowl Holder, Small 9-13 in

Our family has recently moved & while unpacking I came across my gifted pumpkin platter. I always hated the fact that I had to store it away for 11 months out of the year when not in use. So, in the midst of a cleaning frenzy I stopped and bought “Display Buddie”. (Boy, am I glad I did!) I was afraid of the lack of stability and security for my prized possession with other brands BUT “Display Buddie” is by far the best. I am not worried about it being knocked loose or falling forward because the cord lock ensures it “holds objects securely”. I chose a medium size “Display Buddie” because it can hold up to 10 lbs and fits items 10-16”. My platter is oddly shaped and a little heavy but this thing does it’s job well. It took minimal time for me to hang since the hanging hook is designed into the “Display Buddie” already. Also, don’t worry about damaging the surface of your item because the wire is plastic coated on the ends. Long story short, don’t hesitate to buy this item.

I was concerned after reading some of the other comments, but I’m glad I went ahead and ordered this! I got the medium size and my tray fit perfectly. The hook arms are bendable enough to hold a deep rimmed tray like mine and seem to be very sturdy. The weight is negligible and I like the design. It seems a bit spendy for what it is and compared to the metal & spring type hooks. It came layered together on itself, I found it easy to open it up and put on the tray! I’d buy another one if I needed it!!

I was uncertain when the plate hanger arrived, however I have to say.... I'm IMPRESSED! They work very well even on very heavy platters. Highly recommend!

The concept is great (I bought two), but there were two things that didn't work quite right. (1) One worked on my first pottery bowl. The other one, although it fit the bowl, it would not lock in place so (the first one did). Didn't bother to send back as my husband figured out a different way to hang it. (2) If your bowl lip/edge is on the thicker side, like my first bowl, the hooks gripping the bowl were not wide enough. We just took pliers and stretched the hooks a little, and then it was fine.

Very easy to assemble and secure, it's sturdy cable gives piece of mind that won't disappoint. Size is versatile. Very pleased with this purchase.

I make flower's out of plates and needed something to display on an indoor wall rather than outside in the garden. I had ordered the small Display Buddy for a smaller plate flower I made, and it worked beautifully. Recently, I made 3 larger flowers, which are a bit heavier and bigger in diameter. After measuring and confirming the weight of each flower, I ordered 2 medium Display Buddy's and one large. I finally had time to get these flowers up on the wall, which I started with one of the medium size flowers first. OMG- what a joke! I tried over and over again to get the Display Buddy on the plate, to fit correctly, tighten, and then would try putting it on the wall- I even watched the video several times to make sure I was attaching it correctly. The darn metal piece is so flimsy, it just bends and looks as if it's going to fall off the wall from the top- it looks terrible (this did not happen with the small Display Buddy. It's to the point it's pretty much ruined and non-usable. So disappointing because the first Display Buddy I purchased is much sturdier than the new ones I just purchased, and I am 2 weeks past my return window. All 3 flowers are at the correct diameter and weight for the size Display Buddy ordered (the 2 medium flowers-11" & 13", 7.2lbs & 7.6lbs, the large Flower 14" 8.8lbs). Very disappointed in the quality of the product- there is no way the thin flimsy aluminum type material can support the 10 pounds it says it can. And yes, the large size Display Buddy is the same, not quite as bad, but definitely won't support 8.8lbs.

Elsewhere I have seen this product advertised as a packet of three items for around £43 - foolishly this was therefore what I was expecting. However, I got one item for a total of £52.10. The item is well made and does a good job, but this is an extortionate price for what it is

I guess we are paying for the patent. It is very expensive for what it is. The materials must cost the company almost nothing. But there is nothing else out there that seems as suitable for hanging large heavy objects. It works well and I feel that my heirloom piece is safe and secure on the wall.
