It looks nice and solid.

I've bought quite a lot of these for our house renovation. Firstly, these look much nicer than just having isolation valves attached to copper coming out the wall. They thread into a 1/2" BSP female fitting, so this needs a bit of planning and setting out, but it's okay. As a tip, you can screw a stop end cap into the 1/2" fitting after first fix plumbing to cap things off, allowing you to plaster/tile/paint. The valve itself feels good, and is nice to operate. I used it to throttle back the water pressure in the family bathroom so it doesn't rush out when the kids go mad. It works much better than a normal iso valve. Con - there isn't much clearance for the decorative collar, but it works okay. One of the many valves I bought had some of the chroming pealed off - no big deal with Amazon returns. All in all, I'm quite happy!

Did the job perfectly, no ptfe tape needed, unlike the valves these replaced that still leaked, with copies amounts of tape

Looks good, works good. But something strange with its 1/2 BSP threads: it is very hard to connect it, requires a lot of force. I suspect that thread step is non-standard.

The Grohe tap is simply good. The fittings are machined perfectly without any sharp edges or misaligned threads. The turning knob feels solid and turn easily without leaking after several years of use. The coating has not weathered or cracked and looks as good as when it came in after 4 years. It's a must for any bathroom that needs a 1/2" water connection e.a. for a bidet.
