Works great, but is not an Ultra.
I got the equipment and did not verify the type it was. It was not till I was on site that I found that it was a GeoVision GV-IP Decoder Box "Optimal". All I could find different is that the Ultra outputs in 4K and the Optimal does not. This is for one of those "Your on camera" screens in a store so I did not need the 4K and installed the decoder. Works like it should, just look at what is shipped, it might be the wrong one.

These do not function out of the box
I just installed one of these. Ordered direct from Geovision. Tried to set it up and you cannot log into it out of the box, nor will it connect to any cameras out of the box. You have to first download and install the latest firmware. That is just dumb. I wasted three hours of my day trying to figure out why this was not working and come to find out the firmware shipped from the factory is broken and doesn't work. Once the firmware was installed I had everything up and running within minutes. Is it too much to ask to have these working out of the box?
