If I was going to be alone on a deserted island, especially an island with a lot of sand, I would definitely want to have this jar of petroleum jelly with me. It’s an excellent value for the money considering how much product you get, and it doesn’t have any unpleasant fragrance. It’s great for sensitive skin, especially if you’re prone to chafing from using your hands too much.

Value for money, you can never go wrong with one of these in your home can be used for so much, chapped lips, moisture after bath, has a mild fragrance. It’s a huge tub so will last longer. It’s not greasy. It’s good for the whole family.

Best bargain for the original Vaseline not just generic “petroleum jelly”. Vaseline was recently sold at a price much lower than the Amazon brand I’ve been buying. So I bought two of the 13 oz. jars of Vaseline. The original brand seems to be slightly thicker & somewhat lighter in color than the generic, but I see no difference in either brand’s usage or performance. I can recommend either brand, but these days of high costs everywhere, I am more about shopping with savings in mind especially when quality is not an issue.

I ordered this to replace an almost empty jar of Vaseline that was becoming cloudy and stiff. I also ordered this with same day delivery as I need it to cover an torn blister that turned into an open wound approximately 4x6 inches in size. Keeping a wound like this clean is critical. Vaseline is excellent for that purpose. It's also a good idea to use something like a clean Q-tip to scoop out the Vaseline to keep the jar from becoming contaminated from your fingers.
