Hurray for Diwali

This book was bought when my daughter was 3 years old, but she enjoys this book now at 6 and half. Every year during Deepavali she loves going through Gittoo's version of his day and is thrilled to read the reason for celebrating the festival. I would reccommend this book for 5 + year olds.

It's a nice book. One editing mistake is that the Choti Diwali extended two days before the Diwali night. My almost 3 year old son loves it, and it's currently on his favourites list for bedtime

Excellent book to talk about Diwali with Young children, the narrative holds their attention and the illustrations are beautiful.

Excellent book. Guess it's high time Indian talent needs to be acknowledged. We can't relate with spring, autumn, halloween,etc. Very well explained what's Diwali about in a narrative manner. Diwali is our main festival and that's what our kids need to know. What better than a book. Hats off to the authors.

Good for kids to read

Too many words in the book. My kid who has just begun to read lost interest half way through. So returned the book.
