Great Software to create a slideshow type of movie. You can use pictures and movie files with this program. Yes, SONY has discontinued this program, Yes it is the same program as muvee Reveal 8, Yes it works under Windows XP - SP3 and Windows 7 x64 without any issues (For Me). I read some users have had issues, but I tried this program first and I LOVE it. This software is the same as muvee Reveal 8 so you can use all the Styles created for v8 and vX. Just be aware that since SONY (actually Sony Creative Software) have discontinued this program, you most likely will not get any help. Since I tried this version FIRST, I then bought into the Muvee Reveal X edition and love that one as well. If you need something to create a slideshow timed to music you choose, I would definitely try this program. Easy to use, Customizable options and easy to use.1. Select your Photo and Video to use.. You can Add and Arrange in this section.2. Select the Style you want to use.3. Customize the Style Settings to your liking3. Add Music 1 or many4. Preview it. Based on your Music and Media, the program will inform you if you need more Music or Photos5. Save Movie, Send to Facebook, YouTube, burn on DVD, mobile device, iPad, iPhone, or other high quality formatsAll in all, I am very happy with this program and it eventually got me to purchase the newer supported version by muvee Reveal X.

I was unable to install this under XP at all. I was able to install it under Vista (I think), but could not complete the registration because the program objected to my email address - I suspect because there is an underscore in my email address, but I don't really know. This is a preposterously poor product and I am astonished that Sony would have their name associated with it. As I told their help desk, I would have fired any developer who worked for me and delivered something like this. (That may account for why I never got a response from them :). Since it only cost 5 bucks, I'll just move on; otherwise I would be pounding on their door for a refund.

It was worth every penny. It is really simple software if you want to throw together a movie. It makes me want to take pics and short vids of a days events then come home and compile the mess into a watchable memory.On the other hand I did buy it to use some great audio editing capablilites found in Sony Vegas. But alas those features didn't migrate from the 500$ Vegas to the 5$ MoviEZ

Purchased this software in order to put together simple videos in a short amount of time. It is not a powerful video editing suite but it was very easy to use and my wife saved a lot of time editing videos for posting them on blogs.Giving it 4 stars because there are a couple of features that could work better or be more intuitive to use such as the adding music and syncing it to images.

If you are new to video software this is the product for you. Very easy and intuitive steps for putting together a neat video, with video clips, still images and music combined. The package comes with about 20 different musical tracts, each with 30, 60, and 180 second lengths. I initially had trouble saving my videos, but went to the Sony website and downloaded the latest update (thanks to the advice of some great Amazon customers), and all was good. For $3, it's a fantastic deal. Highly recommended.

I bought this software here.I cannot get it to register.I'm using Dell Inspiron 5520 laptop, Windows 7 Home Premium SP1 X64.Only gets 1 star (cannot give 0) because I cannot use it.If I get it to register, I will update this review.

If you are looking for quick movie maker , this is a good choice. If you like to blog, do quick demos or presentations or, photo slide shows to music. This product will meet you needs. They could market this just for photo slide shows. I have used this program for slideshows, blog updates and product demo videos and have no complaints. For quick on the fly video editing, you cant go wrong.
