Pros and cons of coal.
Coal burns hotter and sometimes longer than logs but coal produces more ash.Coal produces a typical sulphur smell while logs give of more pleasant woody smells, this is something that can be a topic of conversation with neighbours.The coal gives off a fairly nice flame picture although smokeless does loose some of its charm as its been used before and recycled into the nuts you recive for your use. Good for heating in smokeless zones, good long burn.
