I've been using this Vetmor replacement cartridge with my Afina showerhead for a little while now, and I am genuinely pleased with the results! The replacement process was exactly as described—super easy and truly tool-free. I had the old cartridge out and the new one in within a minute, and the water was flowing perfectly right away. This replacement filter fits my Afina filtered showerhead perfectly and was very easy to install. It does a good job improving the water quality by reducing chlorine and hard-water impurities, and I noticed my skin and hair feel a bit less dry after using it. The only downside is that some of the filter material inside was slightly leaking out, which wasn’t ideal. Aside from that issue, it still works well overall as a compatible replacement filter.

I have no idea what shower head I’m using but this filter fits it. My shower head is not an Afina product but I had no issues installing the filter in the canister. I’ve been using it for a few weeks now and I don’t notice any of the hard water when I shower. The water pressure is still the same before I installed it so I’m happy with that. The filter has a nice weight to it when I opened it but the weight didn’t interfere with my installation. The price was right and I would get more of these in a few months.

I bought this because it was cheaper than the afina. Fits well with good pressure but not the same. I think there is rocks in it. The afina uses sand. There is definitely a difference with the two. My hair is too sensitive to hard water. I need a good filter for my shower. Afina works great, no hair fall out. This brand not so much, lots of hair fall out.

Honestly, I notice the water feels “smoother” with this brand’s filter vs all the other ones I’ve tried. We have hard water in our condo, so these things are a must for me IMO. My wife and kid have not noticed any difference, and are indifferent about filtering the shower at all, so ymmv there.

I live in an area with very hard water. Lime is the primary culprit, but high levels of chlorine and hard minerals are present as well. In general multi-stage filters in showerheads have been a game changer - this 73 year old man feels a very positive difference in the condition of my hair, skin and nails when using these filters. And, Afina makes great showerheads and filters. Unfortunately, the OEM Afina replacement filter costs $29 before shipping and tax on Amazon and I have never seen a price reduction. As you see from the photos, this Vetmor filter looks almost identical (in the photo of the Vetmor and the Afina filters side by side, the Vetmor filter has no brand markings and appears on the left). And, in my opinion, it also performs as well. Why not 5 stars? Because I have bought other non OEM Afina replacement filters on Amazon for close to $10 each with a similar result. So, a very good product, but I believe you can find a lower priceon Amazon if you shop effectively.

This filter fit perfectly in my Afina shower head, appears to be providing the same level of filtration so far, and installation was no different. Hopefully, I don't run into any issues down the line, since this filter is cheaper than the OEM filters, and I wouldn't mind saving a bit of money.
