Adjustable Angle Track Saw Review: 3 things you need to consider - Seems decent but has 3 caveats: 1. When I opened the box, 2 of the 3 screws that hold the clamp down fell out into my hand. Not a great start but once I reattached them everything felt good quality. Time will tell but a bit of a red flag on quality assurance 2. Some other brands have an inset/cutout on the side of the guide where a clamp might be used in the t-track to make it compatible. This one does not, so I could only clamp one side of the track. Looking at it again, you may be able to thread a track clamp through one of the longer slots but I did not try and even if you can, that feels more cumbersome than other options 3. Assuming this works with the brands advertised but this is too long for Milwaukee tracks. When at a 90 the mount protrudes beyond the cut line which would quickly destroy this guide and your saw blade (see pictures) While points 1 & 3 above may not be an issue for others, I feel 2 is something everyone needs to take into consideration. Review: Not square and not adjustable - junk. No adjustability to fix it not being 90 degree out of the box. Incredible how you can CNC aluminum and still have it not be square. Used 5 cut method to calculate its actual setting and came up with 89.6. Buy a different brand

Useful tool with some quirks.
I think that this is one of the many tools that takes some time to understand. The machining on the main plate is fine, and I like the idea of the adjustable stops. The metal is thick enough to be sturdy, but the attachment for your track seems a little finicky on my rails. I have third party Makita compatible rails, so I am not sure if a Festool or OEM Makita would differ. The main lock does indeed clamp, but it's a single point of pull on a relatively thin section of aluminum. I'd like to see a broader contact area there. I need to measure to check out the accuracy of the stops. So far I can't say anything about the accuracy as I need winter to go away before I can really use the garage. Neutral rating for now.

Works with minor issue
First impression: Out of the box, the first thing you notice is the solid construction. It feels like quality, CNC-machined aluminum with a smooth, black anodized finish. There's zero flex, which is critical for precision. The markings are laser-etched and very clear to read. The fit and finish are excellent, slotting perfectly into my Makita rails without any slop. The range is from -60° to 60°. The positive stops at common angles (45°, 90°, etc.) are useful. They snap into place with a satisfying click and lock down tight. The reference edge seats firmly against the track, providing a stable base. Minor issues: One issue is that the angle is just a hair off, maybe about 0.2°, which isn't a big deal for general woodworking. The other issue is that when you need to dial in a non-standard angle (like 37°), it requires careful alignment of the indicator line and a steady hand when tightening the know. there is a tiny bit of play before it's fully locked. Overall, if you are using it for DIY projects this a good accessory to have.

Solid, Accurate Guide Square with Minor Threading Issues
I came away impressed with this adjustable track saw guide. The construction feels rigid and solid, and the angle accuracy is surprisingly good. On its own, it seems to be within about 0.2 to 0.3 degrees of the desired angle, which is more than enough for general woodworking cuts. If you need perfect precision, you should still check your angle with a more accurate tool before locking it in, but for hitting common angles like 30 or 45 degrees, this guide will get you very close without fuss. The indentations under each hole allow a spring loaded ball to hold the tool while you put the lock screw in, which is nice. The only downside is the machining on the threaded holes. Some of the degree adjustment set screw holes were too tight out of the box. In one case I had to use pliers just to get the screw out the first time. The threads do loosen up after a few uses, but ideally they would have been cut cleaner from the start. Even with that annoyance, the performance and build quality make this a strong product. I’d rate it four and a half stars and round up to five.
