What is the difference between Imolaza and other smart sprinkler controllers ?

I switched from Rachio and Orbit to Imolaza, and I can confidently say that Imolaza's app is by far the best, without a doubt. It offers a wide range of options and has a well-designed interface. Rachio's app, on the other hand, is the worst I've used. B-hyve was okay, but it didn't allow me to set a seeding schedule, which is essential for spraying water every hour to keep the grass seed moist. Imolaza is exceptionally intelligent, and once you've set your watering schedule, you don't have to worry about it anymore. Initially, I had concerns, but after observing and testing it several times, I realized that my worries were completely unnecessary.

Can I replace my hunter pro-c with this smart controller?

That is exactly what I did - replaced my Hunter Pro-C with this Imolaza controller and couldn't be happier.  Only caveat is make sure it has enough stations for you - most Hunter controllers can control more stations than the Imolaza.  I had one more station on my Hunter controller than the Imolaza controller was capable of so I doubled up two of my stations on one in the controller because they were very small ones and could be run at the same time on the same schedule.

Can anyone who is using the product tell me how this works? Is it good or bad?

I have been using this for about 3 months and I have been very happy with it.  It was very easy to install and set up.  I am sure that there are features that I am not using but I haven't had time to dig into all of it.  I was impressed that the company reached out personally after a month to see how it was working and check if I was having any problems.

Highly recommend it.

Do you have to pay a monthly subscription for this to work?

No, there is no subscription. Installed mine five weeks ago and using it with no problem since installing it.
